Yoy mentioned you have a coach now, looking at competing?

me and the missus both have the same coach yes.

Josh Maley (aka The Viking), top bloke and coach, loads of pics on Google. He comes to our gym once a week for clients around that area then trains there. Watched him PT a few ladies there and really notice the change so asked him if he had space for my missus, as she wanted to do less cardio and more weights. She looks the cross fit look so aiming for that. Strong look. He took her on and as soon as he gave her her diet and training plan, after filling out an in depth questionnaire, i realised how far my own diet and training had slipped. I was doing the same exercises all the time, forgot about super sets and drop sets, all my sets were to failure as i wasnt counting. Same with my diet, i had no prepped meals, eating the same crap etc. So two weeks after my missus went with him i asked for coaching help. Told him the above, said ive just lost my way and he totally understood. So we've both been with him a year in September i think.

must admit having a coach and reporting back each week really keeps you on your toes, as you dont want to let him down with poor training or going off diet etc. Hes not just a training coach either, feels like a life coach sometimes, probably cus hes really down to Earth but his focus is incredible. Hes won Mr Uni twice now, won it for the 2nd last year, then went over to Italy and won the heavyweight NABBA. Hes 6ft 5, monster when you stand next to him, and im 6ft 3 lol.

Good stuff clubs happy things are working out for you.

Missus still teaching?

no mate, she pack it up about 5 years ago, too much stress, anxiety and bullying going on within schools that turned into Academies. Soon as a school switched from council to an Academy working conditions plummeted. Every teacher would have to reapply for their own jobs on a lesser wage, as the Academies know theyres NQTs out there that would work for peanuts so loads of teachers with decades of experience, and on high wages, were here forced to have huge pay cuts or lose their jobs. Had you over a barrel. Was loads of teachers that went off sick from depression and working pressure. Longer hours for less money. Got to the point were my missus would come home and be nervous about the following day.

told her to feck it off as she wasnt enjoying it anymore, was truly horrible.

Academies were that bad as a teacher not long after she left they changed working conditions again. Get this.....because Academies are classed as business, they profit on childrens grades and grants etc, they fecked the teachers over and said your only getting paid for the standard amount of time for holidays as someone in the private sector. Meaning the 14 weeks of the year teachers have off, terms, 6 weeks holidays etc, all scrapped! They could only have 21 days paid holiday, same as everyone else in the private sector. Instantly teachers at some Academies lost 2.5 months wage! So not only did they force you to take a wage cut or lose your job, they then striped you off paid holidays!

Council run schools dont have any of the above rules, as its public sector, so teachers get 10% price rise each year, longer contracts and not yearly rolling on at Academies so your jobs never safe. So glad she got out.

Now she works at a butchers, family run, great team, better hours, zero stress! A lot less money but it doesnt matter, we're happy.

Good stuff ant tgats what its all anoit buddy happiness

Happy for you guys

Do you get decent meat discount?

Chicken yes, 5kg fresh for £20. Red meat they charge a feckin fortune for, even with 25% off, so we get it from Lidl lol. Mince, steak, much cheaper and it actually tastes better i think, steaks def have more taste to them.

you still doing computing?
