You ever have any good ones?

I've had plenty although not necessarily good!!

Recently thought sleep pods on airports would make a killng but getting started with it would be out of my price range lol

I had a landscaping and then a car valeting business which both did very well

Nowt flashy I grant you......but brought the money in and loved working for myself

Had a concession sales agency with a contract with ntl telewest 52 staff/ensues up and down the country from Dundee to Bristol then I subcontracted out LASER as it was full off foreigners and I realistically couldn't manage it Turned over

Delivered local papers door to door in different areas Wednesday to Saturday and eventually built it up to a huge business.

Made 20k a year on my own to start with working 3.5 days and ended up with a multi million pond business and 50+ drivers

Industry is imploding now and I'm doing as little as possible!!!

The future now is getting involved in the leaflet side that has been left with no means of delivery as all the locals shut down or decrease circulation. But not for me anymore, I enjoy relaxing!!!

Excellent stuff lads. Id love to start up something on my own it's just having the balls I guess

some fastfit companies make a heap.

the trick is to not get bogged down in long, drawn out mechanical work.

my job before this one was for a company that had started off with one place in the back arse of nowhere, in the end it turned over 70m a year.

at which point the family who owned it sold out and f**ked off to live in luxury.

cant fault them really!

I'd love to do something for myself.. the what is always the issue.

Snap Andy.

Just chatted to a guy this week who is 26 and after working for a comparator sourcing company for 5 years(Basically source and supply pharmaceuticals for other companies to run trials on) set up on his own.

He's now making an absolute mint! The company I work for buys tonnes off him
