Ground coffee

I actually really like Costa espresso ground coffee. One of my fave ground coffees. Illy is nice but expensive to.

Caveman coffee is supposed to be excellent. Going to be treating myself to some soon so will report back.

Massive coffee drinker and have Nespresso machines at home and work but I started used a Bialetti a few months ago and it's pretty much the best coffee maker I have for 1/20 of the price of my machines

Try Douwe Egberts mate, their name doesn't get splashed around like many others do, but their coffee's have been amongst the best around since I was a wee bairn .

Tassimo, dolce gusto, nespresso, machine they are always half price in one supermarket or another, I just buy the pure coffee pods not the flavoured one, instant coffee doesn't come close

If you want to taste coffee at it's best and actually get flavour as opposed to the roast taste then you need to freshly grind coffee. Pre ground coffee is stale and thats that. It also needs to be freshly roasted.

You can achieve really nice coffee at home without spending alot too. Look into a Porlex hand grinder and buy some freshly roasted beans online (wholebean).Pour over coffee is the best non espresso based in my opinion, but the above will work just fine in a french press too.

Nespresso is to coffee what McDonalds is to food in my opinion but i am a coffee geek haha.

Nespresso pods are so expensive too. They remind me of what the printer companies did, sell a machine cheap and charge the earth for the consumable as it is a closed market.

What do you use to make your coffee Mick?

I've got a Bialetti stove top espresso pot that an Italian friend gave me. Makes a great cup of espresso out of any half-decent ground coffee.

They're not pricey and there's a good reason every Italian is issued one of these at birth.
This is my weapon of choice too

Here's mine

This is what a freshly ground, freshly roasted espresso looks like.

Nice .. Definitely a good bit of coffee snobbery, I need to treat myself to a proper machine
