Pregabalin For Insomnia

Fucking doctors palming me off with more shit pills.
By the look of it I have to take these on a daily basis. I don't have insomnia all the time so Id rather not.
Sides include a reduction in platelets. So shit for strength sports
Possible increase in anxiety and depression plus suicidal thoughts.

@Pip you know everything about everything
Should these go in the bin?

Such as? I don't know what a normal sleeping pill is

All they try and give me is anti depressants
This particular one is for epileptic people or something

I had 5mg zolpidem in may, used the last one last night, so two months for 14 pills and he wouldn't give me more incase I get addicted

Yeah it's a hypnotic, the stuff they gave me was very similar , but I spoke to a different doctor and he said no this time

Just gonna go in in a weeks time saying I'm having dodgy sides

I just want something for now and then. I don't want to take a course of shit that makes you feel groggy forever

Its secondary use is anti anxiety. As for sleep I am not sure.
I know someone who does use it for anti anxiety and it gives them bags of energy. But they are also on a host of other meds as well.

They are getting very strict with prescribing benzodiazepins and hypnotics now or at least they are being told to.
Have a look at melatonin which does work and you can buy them online from the states.

I was recommended them as well whilst my anxiety was at its peak. The fact that its a neuropathic painkiller put me right off it.

I rate xanax for a good sleep.. Mostly a axiety med but it puts me asleep pretty well.. Just limit them to once a week or so so dont build up addiction
 
Phenibut used once or twice a week gives me an amazing deep sleep. But tolerance builds up fast. Doesn't get me to sleep, but gives a great sleep.

Alprazolam is brilliant but its the number one most abused benzo in the US.
 
Thanks @Pip, looks like I'll go down the buying stuff online route

So took 25mg and it did nothing
Took another 25mg and hello coma

Woke up feeling like shit though, really groggy and not with it, hopefully a few coffees will sort me out

Yer me mate brings me in back from sri lanka.... I always keep a few handy if a propa cant sleep or havent had a good one in a while...

Never had more than 2 in a week though, only use them as a "treat"
 
Xanax (Alprazolam) are given out like sweets in the US. Don't think I have ever known someone to get prescribed them, or indeed valium at a decent dose in the UK

What did you take 25mg of @holly
 
@Irish Beast I took 50mg of thay pregabalin
Then last night 100mg and still couldn't sleep

Was going to email the doctors an insomnia fuelled message at about 2am but decided against it.
Woke up at 6:30
Fuck my brain.
 
I took a alpeazolam last night pre bed.. Was out in about 5 mins slept right thru from 11 til 10...

Feel good today
