Anyone do it? Seem to be popular in some circles i think its more health than bodybuidling but a recon they can be used

eat some crap the weekend and got drunk so ave fasted since sunday evening gunna go till tonite

48 hours itll be, feel great tbh and back to a good level more so then if i was eating in terms of energy and mood..

feel ded “light” if that makes sense might do them more often maybe a 24 every monday or something and just drink loads of water

so far am enjoying it anyway

    anyone done or do similar

Been doing the 16/8 for the last couple of years mate, I rate it, stay leaner, no increase in muscle loss dieting, best of all it’s pretty much sorted my acid reflux issues.

Never done the extended versions like you’re talking about where you do a day or two fasting apart from when I’ve had the wild shites haha

If I don’t eat every few hours I’m a miserable sod

Think it would seriously effect work and relationships - although be tempted to try something less severe like Big Ian mentions for a spell

Exactly mate, it was hard for me getting my head round it to start with, used to eat every 2-3hrs, years ago when I was much more serious about the whole bodybuilding thing my last meal used to be around 11pm and first 7am and had a shake or protein bar to have when I got up for a piss in the middle of the night. It’s no wonder why so many bodybuilders have stomach issues, they’re constantly processing stuff and not getting a chance to rest.

Now my last meal is about 9pm and first is 1pm but sometimes if I’m busy it’ll go to 2 or 3.

Just like dieting innit, when you first start you’re starving but your body and brain just get used to it don’t they.

So many benefits to it I’ve read about and then experienced some myself not to do it. No downsides really for me now I’m used to it and when you think about it, it’s how the body was meant to work, all this you can’t process more than 30g protein per meal etc so you have to spread it out. How did our ancestors do it? They’d catch a big fucking animal and feast on it and then they’d not eat for a few days.

I did a 96hr one before my last surgical procedure. Did wonders for reducing my inflammation levels which were off the charts.

    Hunger subsided after 48hrs tbh

As you know my digestive system. Well whats left of it is a Challen

Roughly every 6 weeks I complete a 48 / 72 hr water fast. This really helps reset my system.

Ashley one of my consultants recommended it off the record. Strictly speaking its officially not something they recommend
