What's your line of work, mate?

We're not likely to be fully open until after the summer, possibly partially in July but I'm not sure it's financially viable to do so may as well keep people furloughed on the Govt dime and stay shut than open, pay them ourselves and make no money still. As I'm local and Snr Management I've got away with blagging the fact that I can keep the place in check security wise and do any little bits (plus I get to use the gym at work) and keep my full pay (that said, the furloughed staff are on full pay themselves for doing nowt)

Good attitude to have, and sounds like you are in a relatively good place to not be overly stressed

After the challenges i have been through and still smash each and everyday ive learned not to waste energy on things out of my control.

Yes im fortunate to have worked very hard from a young age, always been my target to be debt free by 40.

    Thanks mate

We are the same. 25th is cut off date but its usually cleared 4 days afterwards. Last month, presumably because there was nothing to calculate, it came through on 25th. Turns out some have got theirs today. Some haven't.

Are your company making up the remainder? Could that make difference? Company I work for isn't and its been my usual pay date (even the same day before the weekend too).

My first pay date was late by a few days in April but we were told this would happen because of the extra work they had to do but I’m expecting it as normal on the normal date (last Friday of the month)
