So I'm booked in for a full sleeve end of August, but just about to start a bulk cycle... How does this effect tattoos, will it distort ect
I dropped 52lbs last years before my operation/ following operation. This year ive added 16lbs but kept my waist at 30 inches do more or less all lean tissue. I have ink covering my right delt / arm and it looks perfect - exactly the same as always
Cheers Mick, ctgats good to know... I don't bulk stupidly anyway... I'm sitting at 15.5st now... Looking to put on a decent stone and maintain.
Coverup of an old tattoo inbetween my shoulder blades No design in mind Been using same girl for last 10 years - shes mint Trust her and let her do her thing etc
I have full sleeves on both arms and they have never stretched or distorted so it will be fine. Although I don't think I have ever trained after having a tattoo done that might be a bit nippy.
Haven't personally done it what way round, but have done the opposite. Got 2 full sleeves and a body suit when I was at my biggest. Managed to train etc. no worries BUT it is trauma to the body and there is recovery associated. Depending on how rough the artist is, how deep they go ,how much dark shading you have and the size...it can kick your fucking arse. I had to dial training back a bit while the ink settled in and I recovered. Mind I had a physical job also so I was using resources up there. Fast forward 7 years I'm 20kg lighter and it all still looks spot on. Be mindful of keeping yourself clean and washing off any sweat etc ASAP. Also just for me personally doesn't matter where I got ink I always somehow managed to smash the fucker regardless of how odd the position was. Seemed to be par for the course!
Bite the pillow AG I've got loads of tattoos and as long as you look after them I've found any stretching from mass gain or shrinkage from loss is not noticable. Id also give it a week off whilst it heals scab wise. As that will irritate you if a section gets rejected
Also forgot to mention if you are on gear you are going to bleed like a cunt, so the artist may have to be rougher with you bear that in mind.
