haha, im a sucker for any chocolate - when i was younger i used to eat all my mums cooking chocolate :wacko: haha!! When we lived in africa my mum used to drive for an hour across some of the worst, dustiest "roads" you can imagine - to have one chocolate bar and then drive back... so chocolate addition is in my genetics LOL...


these days its snickers or kit kat chunkys & the peanut variety :biggrin:

 

Back day, been about 3 weeks but I gave it my best shot.


Deadlift: 5x70, 110, 3x150, 2x170, 2x190, 5x200 with 2 mins rest then 5x150, 10x110


LDP: stack (95) for 10, 10, 9 IIRC with 90 secs rest then 1 set chins x10


Hammer rows: 95 for 11, 11, 10


Pullover (rope): 65 for sets of 13 then dropped to complete 7 sets with 10 secs rest


Rolling, stretching and 20 mins cardio to finish.


A pleasing end to the week, a solid 200x5, altho tough work and my best for reps for a while (DOH, no straps in case you are wondering). Everything else was strong enough too.

Roller and stretch plus 20 mins xtrainer


Bit much for 9am but all ok. Skipped a warm up set on FS as I was feeling it early so happy to nail my triple

Now judging by all this talk of chocolate and easter egg munching I would recommend a good dose of cardio I have had to start back on the treadmill as I have totally abused the chocolate this last few days and fcuk knows how many chocolate cornflake cakes I have put away.I know its a lot by the way the kids keep bitching about me eating them to the wife LOL

 

Film was good, just fcuked off with getting conned into this 3d crap. My boy is 4 so never keeps them on, I looked up 2d times and only saw 9.30pm. Then noticed a load of other time listings (without reading) so we rolled up to the 1.10 showing but after pay

 

You don't know how lucky you are to have a little lad I have got the greedy women in my house and the only way I get chocolate is if I hide it from them which is hard as they can smell it a mile off LOL

 

I can pretty much guarentee that after my evening here at work, I'll open the fridge to find that my boarderline obese step-son and time-of-the-month wife will have probably polished off anything that might have been left! See, I can ration, a piece here a piece there but they have no clue and have to eat all that is there now so that they won't be tempted later - or so they say, IMO they are just greedy fcukers!

I have managed to stash a tin heroes in the back of the cupboard its been there since xmas buried under tinned fruit and vegetables and no-one has rumbled it............. I found out the best way to stash things in my house is to put healthy food in front of them it seems to repel the greedy twats like a cross in Draculas face !!

Strict OHP: 70x 8, 7, 5 w/90 secs rest


Lat Raise: 10s x 7sets of 11 reps (just) w/30 secs rest


Floor Press: 3x80 then 92.5x 5, 5, 5 w/90 secs rest


Dips: BW+47.5x 10, 10, 8 w/90 secs rest


Rope Pushdowns: 7 sets of 12-10 reps dropped from 65 w/10 secs rest


Roller and stretch to finish, no cardio cos it's a lovely day so I've cycled to work.


Good session today, struggled on the PP but got it anyway, good rep increase on the strict work too. After that the work was steady with some progression but nothing as satisfying as the OHP work

Yeah, I like them, even from a BBing perspective. I find them far more comfortable and productive than 'regular' close grip work.
