It still isn't definitely not cancer yet... It's not looking likely butbit seems that is going to be the last thing they'll be able to discount. Feb is with the specialist so we're hoping between now and then there's a barrage of tests to be done... Otherwise there's no point in seeing her.

They just had a pasta meal. He still holds a torch for her for sure. But they had a good time. It's his birthday tomorrow, well it is today now but it's 12.10 so he'll have to wait for the computer

I'm still clearing out snot but I feel ok

So cancer still isn't off the table? Fcukin hell what are they fcukin about for.

So hopefully by the time she gets her Feb appointment she will have had all the tests to find what it actually is.Her head must be in bits with all of this.

His love life is very complicated that's for sure lol, hopefully he will love his computer after all the hassle you had to get it sorted for him.

Good to hear your on the mend didn't take long to get back on track

I've not got the day off to the best start. Mrs works literally a 5 min bike ride away but wanted me to drive her in. Which is always a pain in the arse. I made the mistake of saying "really, it's no distance".... Not spoken since.

Better get baking a giant cookie cake and see if I can't salvage the day lol

    Still not spoken LOL

Anyway, it's finally here, deload week. Been on the go all day, still bunged up so probably good that training now takes a back seat for a while. Walked to Tesco to get the bits I needed to bake Zach's cookie cake and ice it (got a feeling they'll moan, it's quite big but probably not 'soft baked' enough but there you go, we'll soon see). Baked it all after breakfast and then let it cool while I went and threw in my deload ham session. Home in time to ice it and wrap his present up, get the bunting and balloons done and get some lunch in before everyone got home (to ignore me). Had a brief moment of panic when we set up Zach's computer as it wouldn't get a picture up, turns out the HDMI slot I was using was the wrong HDMI slot, his mate popped round, swapped it over and bingo - that was a relief. Gave it all a thumbs up too so that was a double result.

    A: Hack Squat GMs: 10x100, 140x16, 14
    B: Seated Ham Curl: 80x16.... 82.5x13
    C: Press Calves: 150x12, 11
    D: Seated Calves: 30x16, 14

So we started off with a 30kg weight drop and the same reps as my opening sets were last week, so comfy but something to work with. Seated hams were good, meant to have 82.5 on the first set but didn't, could have left it but corrected the 2nd set anyway just for good measure. Probably could or should have done more on the calf press but TBH I could feel it and it felt tough enough for a deload. Seated calf work was also an easy 2 sets.

So you've fell out with the Mrs again LOL.

This giant cookie cake sounds fcukin awesome was it a big hit?

And what did Zach think of the computer ? Are you the best dad in the world or what!!

Had to laugh at the HDMI port incident it's nice to know I am not the only useless f uker when it comes to technology I had to Google how to turn off my ps5 FFS LMAO.

Giant cookie went down a storm (like our marriage lol)... Huge. 25cm across and 3cm thick covered in buttercream.

She's talking now but took til after tea lol.

Zach loves the PC. With the set up faux Pas (it just had a port that wasn't actually attached to the graphics board, changed port and it worked), his pc builder mate popped round and was impressed, which in turn means he is. But he can now play everything he couldn't and hasn't stopped raving about it.... Which is a huge fvcking relief

Now that's a cookie and even your Mrs is talking to you after eating that LOL.

It's good to see that he loves the computer and like you say if his geek mate is impressed then it must be shit hot.

Bet you feel good that you've sorted a bloody good one for him and now you've got a bargaining chip to keep him check LMAO.

Annoyingly was feeling a bit rough last night, thankfully perked up today. All went well yesterday in the end tho with Zach's birthday, early start today at work saw me just missing the rain and being a deload session got the full Push session done in the half hour break rather than needing a 2 day split for it, giving me a day off tomorrow (we have the hairdressers and xmas decs to put up anyway).

    A: Machine Flat Press: 10x110, 185x12, 9
    B: Cable Xover Flyes: 35s x22, 20
    C: Cable Free PDs: 50s x20, 18
    D: Cable EZ Bar PDs: 40s x19, 20
    E: SLRs - 60secs rest: 6s x22, 17
    F: Free Curls: 30s x12, 10

All done in a swift half hour this morning. All moving pretty comfortably and easily. Only some slight twinges in the shoulder but nothing over the top to really bother anything. Feeling the cold tho and kept my layers on even with abbreviated rest seeing as effort levels were low.

I need to get my decorations up as well bought some tinsel today so I have made a start LMAO

Zach is living on his PC right now bless him.

I never use more than the weights I had in week one and cut reps too on deload

I haven't run a deload for ages I am well overdue one tbh so might run one next week but I have to remember not to hammer through it LMAO

My deloads are still strictly scheduled. I did have half an idea to add a week or 2 to this block so I could have an easier xmas week but once I started to feel rough that plan wet to shit.

Trouble with Zach now is, he needs a better monitor, and better speakers, and better fvcking everything LOL

She's been in one all weekend. And then moans that we never talk.... I mean when you set the tone by tearing in to me within an hour of waking up then yeah, I'm probably going to figure I'm best off shutting the fuck up for the rest of the day. It made me laugh at my sisters wedding cos she started going on about how my stepbrother and his soon to be divorced wife talk more than we do - an hour earlier she'd said they'd apparently slept together too.... so there's 2 things a divorced couple do more than we do LOL

Funny how the effects of an early morning, a deload mind set, still bringing up phlegm and just having had my moderna booster jab can make what should have been an easy session a little more challenging than it probably should have been. Officially had my first cruise jab last night and weighed in this morning (2wks post last blast jab) at 99.6, so a kg lighter but also looking a kg sharper I reckon so all good.

    A: Leg Press: 10x120, 210x13, 10
B: Lunges:... minimal rest.... 10s x15 each leg
    C: Belt Calf: #22+25s x17, 15
    D: Calf Press LOCKOUT: 100x15, 13

So my wk 1 work weight for a less rep deload session was fine, while I sit here saying it maybe felt a bit tougher than it should have I guess the reality is that a leg press weight will never really feel light and if it does it's probably not worth doing. All OK tho, I think I was feeling a bit of post-booster stiffness TBH too. Lunges were done with the 10s, and after I'd packed the leg press up so not an immediate superset. Went fine, no quad burn today. Heavy calf work was fine and reps kept sensible and the lockout work was done lighter than wk 1 so no problems there either.

As a side note, when the nurse was giving me my booster and was taking about the fact I train, she had no qualms about saying "I hope you don't do those steroids!".... nosy buggers that lot. I wittily replied that with this pandemic I'm getting enough injections already - how they laughed LOL
