It has made me think for sure, but I had a few health concerns myself recently and I don't have congenital issues or hereditary issues in my family history and have never used reccys & drink maybe once per year. I guess I've had warning signs so I'm more receptive now. Previously, it would have been 'other people', if you get me. It's always "other people" on bodybuilding forums... Maybe Powerhouse was a very heavy AAS user but maybe he was just unlucky to get prostate cancer etc. I've never been a very heavy AAS user, but I have used continuously, so in that sense, I've gone full retard and ignored all the 'best practise' shit we learn starting out. I spent plenty of years talking up steroids and downplaying their health effects, because that is what I believed at the time and that is what we have all convinced ourselves of on bodybuilding forums, and we all reinforce each other, but with this shit going on right now - I just can't ignore it anymore & I think I've heard so many excuses that they are all meaningless by now. We're not getting the full picture. Part of the problem with bodybuilding forums too is that they're full of young guys hammering gear and feeling fine, but the side effects don't usually show up until 10 years later, by which time they're no longer even a member of a forum, so we're hearing about the high, but not hearing about the low Same goes for the professionals, a lot of them will downplay or hide their health problems for various reasons, legal, health insurance, embarrassment etc.. It just seems delusional at this stage and I'm no longer willing to delude myself.
