You self medicating with the cortisone jabs mate ?
they is it GPs always use a 2.5" Green for every cortisone jabs? I had a Green in my shoulder which was fine, but they stuck a 2.5" Green in the side of my foot too?! Felt horrible. Foot still isnt right, so might ask for another shot as its been probably 6 months now. I know youve only allowed so many per year.
I'm back training again, full body though twice a week.
Nearly 50, body feels 70
im 40 next year. Was 21 when i started training, doesnt seem that long ago. Time flys!
I'm 47 in a couple of months. Mad to think we've all been on forums together since our 20s
I'm uttelry convinced there's a switch that flips at 50 where you just fall apart mate, sorry to be the bearer of bad news :-D
What sort of routine we all doing atm ?

im just doing random tbf just traning at home so just do as n when what ever i feel like and and abit of cardio priming up for the when they all open again
Daily cardio - steady state etc
5 day split
Legs / abs
Rest 2 days weekly.
Mainly shoulder press, upright row, lat raises and some rows. Few curls and kickbacks
enough to get a pump
Training most days, thru lockdown I've also done 5k every morning (apart from today as we had the dentist).
Currently have Hams/Chest/Quads/Pull system I have a A and B session for each, so 4 days of A then 4 days of B. Basically Hams A will be GM and curls, Hams B will be SL and curls, chest A will be flat, chest B will be Inc etc. I take days off as they come and when I need but usually do 5 or 6 days a week. I run it all progressively for 4 cycles (which takes about 6 weeks as I have an 8 day training cycle), each 8 day cycle is bettered the following week using a RIR system. Then deload for a cycle before restarting and amending as I feel necessary.
Pull B.... random days off. Usually 1x PW but have been known to get 20 days straight in too
First cycle will be 3 sets with 3 RIR as a rule, last cycle will have increased to 4 sets to failure. High volume/reps and lower intensity right now. Generally 2 exercises per muscle altho sometimes chuck in a few biceps on chest day and a few metabolite sets for chest on a pull day. Mix of compound and isolates, some myorep and rest pause work.
Erm no I’m not training even though have a full gym in the garage.

3 sets of db bp
3 sets Pull ups
1 set of ohp
I say “train” cos there was practically nothing on the bar. Took me 10 mins. Just wanted to move through the movements
