Getting Some Old Members Back

You still in London Ed?

Plans for anymore bairns?

And is your wife similar age?

Sounds like you really settled down and truly see things how they should be seen.

Haven’t been in London since about 18 years ago. Still live in the soft south mind.

Wife’s younger than me, but wise beyond her years. Kind, smart, Thoughtful , caring , insanely beautiful and puts up with me so I got the better end of the deal.

no more kids planned and I’ve seen to that. We both wanted two boys (would’ve been happy with girls asking as they were healthy) and know financially, emotionally and physically we can only deal with two. That and the very scary scenario of almost losing her when she gave birth to the second made the decision easy.

Thats cool ed pleased for yourself and your family.

Sounds like a very similar story to our 2nd child, nearly lost my wife so i went for the snip too.

Puts everything in perspective getting through a challenge like that.

Glad you're doing well, Ed, shame about the physical pains etc you are in and the scares you have had but in the grand scheme of things life seems to be serving you well

Alright fellas,

good to see a lot of you still around and keeping healthy (ish)

still keep in touch with Ronnie Malenko on text, I’m off to Spain next month to live with much younger Spanish fiancé and getting married Next year.

Thought about Ethan recently actually as we are off to Cambodia this winter to do some teaching for 3 months. Hope he is ok l

haven’t lifted at all during “lockdown” Just using my Wattbike most days. Was in decent shape last year for an Asia holiday but otherwise it’s very much taken a back seat. Hopefully have one last smash at looking decent for wedding then it’s sprog time.

Doby now that's a blast from the past.

Off to live in Spain I am well happy things worked out for you mate....wish you all the best.

I live close to the Spanish border so depending on where you move to you might not have that much of a drive to pick me up for your wedding party.

Couldn’t care less personally. Don’t have time for the vapid people and their leased cars who look down on everyone who isn’t living it large.

There’s always going to be cliques of parents, best focus on who you want to surround yourself with. Unfortunately there’s far more vapid, irritating people who would rather discuss love island and what they read in OK magazine etc then being a good example to their kids and being a decent human being.

How’s your master of psychological warfare doing as well as the mrs?

Yeah, doing really well thanks. Great to hear your lot are too mate

With work being busy before lockdown and not spending as much time as I'd like at home (but someone's gotta pay the mortgage right?) It's been great to be at home with the little one daily - really seeing her develop and learn and being able to help with that is amazing.
Just breaks my heart she has to spend a bit of the day by herself while I work from home but she's happy doing her own thing for a bit.

I always say to her I'm sorry I have to work so much....and then the other day she said "it's ok daddy, I know you have to work to earn money to pay for nice things for us and pay for the house. It's ok, I know I can come and give you a cuddle when I want"
Just turned 4. And totally understands everything now

Get me back on the sauce, I'm turning into a right soppy bugger

Lmao sometimes it can have the opposite effect I’ve found. In general though I’m a right cry baby these days. I dunno if it’s years of using clomid to pct or a combo of things (age etc) but I fucking cry at the drop of a hat with stuff on telly and that, people suffering etc and sometimes when it’s someone’s life dream realised or whatever I struggle not to shed a tear. It’s a proper running joke in our family now Haha

Anybody else like this or is there gonna be tumble weed passing this thread now I’ve opened up lol

Right there with you mate

Nearly shed a tear at a kid singing on bgt the other day.

My wife says I'm going to be banned from any social or schooling events for my girl. Totally understand.
