1 cup rice = how many carbs

Guest
im using the rice that per 100g has like 77g rice..the organic brown rice.

i need to have 65g rice dry uncooked...so was wondering what the measurement would be..like 1/2 cup. 3/4cup etc..

thanks~

also...80g oats = about 55g carbs...would 3/4cup oats = 80g oats?

thanks

Depends what size the cup is  - just get a set of electronic scales, you can get them for less than

yes its a measurement from the states, i have a measuring thing from the ons serious mass that has 1 cup written on it..so thought that would be the same as one cup in the us.

Use a mug for measurement. One full mug of rice contains around 250g of uncooked rice. So that should yield around 150g of carbs.

65g uncooked rice = about 50g carbs

1 cup (us) = apprx 65g x3 = 195/200g

So I guess to have 65g of uncooked rice, you'll need 1/3 of a US Cup measurement.

As already said, the best thing to do is to skip the redundant conversion and just use a scales/keep it in grams.
