What is Aromasin?

Aromasin works quite similarly the way Arimidex does. They are both classed as suicide inhibitors and both are extremely potent in reducing estrogen levels in the body in a very quick time frame.

Aromasin, much like Arimidex, works by blocking the aromatase enzyme, which stops the production of estrogen in the body. It was designed to work like this as breast cancer cells are stimulated by estrogen in the body, and it is a medication for breast cancer.

Aromasin is a great option when on cycle to help manage and quickly stop side-effects caused by excess estrogen build up in the body. It can benefit blood pressure and more by reducing the amount of water weight.

Nolvadex is a SERM and only blocks the attachment of estrogen to the tissue it does nothing to reduce the levels of estrogen in the body.

Aromasin Dose and Availability

Aromasin is available in pharmacy grade and it is also manufactured by UGLs.

All Arimidex comes in 2.5mg tablets.

The general price for Aromasin is between £25 – £45 per box.

Aromasin on Cycle

When on cycle, it is easy not bloat up with water-weight and not realise how much of an impact that added weight can be having on your cardiovascular system, as well as heightening your chance of more severe side effects.

Steroids such as deca, Anadrol and even testosterone to some degree all-cause higher levels of aromatisation in the body.

For people with higher body fat levels or who are more sensitive to estrogen, this can cause horrible side effects, one of the most stand out being gynecomastia.

Gynecomastia is the growth of breast tissue in men. For anyone using steroids gynecomastia and water retention often go hand in hand. It is something nobody wants to have to deal with. Symptoms of gynecomastia include puffy and tender nipple and swollen tissue around the nipple area.

When these sides start to show themselves it is important to be ready to combat them. For more experienced steroid users they will likely already be running an inhibitor such as Aromasin as a part of a cycle. However, people who are new to steroids will likely not be expecting as much.

When on cycle, a dose of .5mg every three days is a good place to start. Remember, the goal is to keep water retention to a minimum but not crash your estrogen totally, this is a good way to judge if your Aromasin dose is working.

If you find you are still holding water, then increasing it to every two days, before increasing the dose any higher.

Everyone is different and how their body handles aromatisation will be different. It is important to see what works for you and test then adjust.

Aromasin as PCT

As well as being incredible at reducing the levels of estrogen in the body Aromasin has also been known to be able to stimulate the production of natural testosterone in men.

In PCT the idea is to start ramping up the testes to increase the levels of your own natural testosterone. Once on cycle, the levels of testosterone being produced by your own body will gradually start to reduce.

It can be used as a part of a PCT, yet it would need to be used at its lowest dose. For most, during PCT your hormone levels are beginning to level out and find homeostasis, again, the last thing you want to do is fully suppress your estrogen and crash.

Most people will prefer to run Aromasin on cycle and Nolvadex as a part of PCT.

Side Effects of Aromasin

It does come with some side effects, a few more notable than others. This, at the end of the day, is a cancer treatment drug.

The most common sides are hot flashes, joint pain, fatigue, changes in mood and behaviour, depression and changes in blood pressure. It should be noted that it is quite rare to experience these side effects.

It has also been noted that using an aromatase inhibitor like Aromasin could reduce bone mineral density and lead to osteoporosis in certain individuals.

For users with high cholesterol or who are at risk of cardiovascular disease, it can cause adverse changes to the levels of HDL and LDL. When using steroids these levels are already at risk and it is possible for Aromasin to increase the shift of good cholesterol to bad even further.

FAQ on Aromasin

What is Aromasin

It is a suicide inhibitor. It was first designed as a cancer treatment for women.

For people using steroids, it is used to stop the aromatisation of estrogen in the body. Less estrogen means less water retention which keeps blood pressure low and limits the chances of getting gynecomastia.

Aromasin will start working within hours. Although it may take a few days to see or feel the results if you have left it to the last minute to start using it. The half-life of Aromasin is noted as being 30 – 60 hours.

As with steroids, it will take some time for the level of Aromasin the body to reach its peak where it can start exhibiting its effects.
