I used to remember Ken’s write ups regarding his aggressive all or nothing approach to his kids sports day events. Was it the egg and spoon where he got injured pulled a hamstring or something @huntingground ?

1st, won Herts SM (Novices).
No need to ask really.

COMP HISTORY
SM : 2013 : 100% record. 1 comp, 1 win (Herts Strongest Man (Novices)).
PL : 2017-19 : 100% record. 5 comps, 5 wins including GPC British Championship Finals 2018 (u125/M2 RAW), current holder of 2 BPU British Records (SQ/DL - u125/M2 RAW(bare knees)).
I'll put up the pic of me with Rob Frampton (he presented me with trophy) when I have time too. He looks a tiddler next to the GWS.

It was Watfords Strongest Man for Opens and Herts Strongest Man for Novices IIRC. No idea why. I see the guy who arranged it in Nortons occasionally, I'll ask him.
I don't have the trophy any more either, my boy destroyed it when he was little.
I have loads of vids and pics though.
I had trained SM once and had been training for 3 years at the time so was surprised to win it. I was one of the biggest in the Novices but there were people who had done lots of comps.

So you all competed together then were separated in to Novices and Opens for the placing?
So where did u come out of the whole field of competitors?
Different heats mate. I competed against the Novices and come first. No idea who won the Inters.

I remembered that you are an untouchable novice or any category apart from opens strength athlete though so knew u had won
