Do people recommend using insulin with peptides like they would HGH?

Eg: Post workout, GHRP2+ModGRF, 20mins later carb and protein shake, then insulin.

Or does the advantage of insulin & HGH not apply to peptides?
 
You could of course do that Edd.
The advantages will be the same.
I am not sure if not consuming calories during the workout then waiting to eat would be worth the shot.
I would be more inclined to dose mk677 as that gives a 24 hour GH release then you don't have to worry about waiting around to eat.

Interesting that you suggest MK677. From my research I've only found people rating it for improved sleep and not much else. I really don't like the idea of being hungry from it too. I get this bad enough with GHRP2. Do you thnik it's GH release will be more effective than PWO GHRP2 & ModGRF?

My plan is to use HGH and insulin PWO once per week, on leg day as this is a lagging body part. Rest of the week to be economical I'll use GHRP & ModGRF PWO, I just don't know if the insulin is beneficial on the peptide days.

Hunger with MK677 is fine as long as you eat a good meal 25 minutes after taking the pill.

So here's how I see the peptides.
The combo of ghrp/cjc may lets say give 1iu per shot.
The MK may give 4iu over 24 hours.
So you can get more with the ghrp/cjc if you shoot it maximal amounts of time each day which works out around 6 times once every 3.5 hours or so.
I have used both many times and I prefer the MK as it's far easier to deal with.

Insulin will always be beneficial if used correctly.
A small amount pre workout is the best but most risky IMO.
Small shots with meals is also a great way to do it.
Or just post workout as you have suggested just be careful as the workout will pull BG down (you would need to go without intra shake if doing the peptides post) then when you add slin in it "could" hit harder than expected.

I train in the morning. I eat 2 hours pre workout and train with just water.

No because the risk would be going hypo while you train.
Hypos come on quick and can turn ugly in moments!
I once went into a full seizure from low BG and that was without insulin!

Benefits of pre would be preventing muscle breakdown while you train and shuttling nutrients!
Make sure you have the correct intra shake during training to cover and a suitable pre training meal!

Would metformin with my pre-workout meal be a less dangerous (albeit less effective) substitute for pre workout insulin?

I'm asking about insulin because I want to get the most effect out of the GH/GHRPs, but if I use MK677 I guess that's less of an issue as it wont create a pre or post spike.

I don't think metaformin gives anabolic benefits.
If any thing it's going to reduce your response to weight training slightly.

If you use it pre just use a small amount.
No need for 10iu pre training.
4-5iu is plenty, will give you benefits and is easy enough to control.
