Anyone ever tried blending rice as a way to get easy calories in? Tempted to try it, taking inspiration from this post
It's what I do when I make cream of rice. Saw someone do it on YouTube and tastes just fine. Literally grinds up almost as fine as flour like consistency in nutri bullet.Anyone ever tried blending rice as a way to get easy calories in? Tempted to try it, taking inspiration from this post
Yeah was kind of thinking some basmati rice, chocolate whey and milk/water can't go wrongIt's what I do when I make cream of rice. Saw someone do it on YouTube and tastes just fine. Literally grinds up almost as fine as flour like consistency in nutri bullet.
Also in shakes is easy cals.
I don't get why people buy JP ground rice for the price it is when with a half decent blender, some jasmin rice (quid a kilo) and some whey you can make your own.
Rice flour is less than a quid a kilo on amazon
Then you go to bb warehouse and their flavoured cream of rice is 30 for 5kg!
First ingredient on the list - ground rice flour
I use rice flour all the time
Digests really well, can have it sweet or savoury, cooked or in a shake
If you're pushed for time or only have a kettle you can just add boiling water
