Anyone used this and saw results on it's own?

"Collagen is a complex structural protein which provides the major building material for growth, repair and maintenance of skin, ligaments, bones, nails and hair. Hydrolysed Collagen is 100% pure protein in a hydrolysed, soluble amino acid form allowing effective utilisation by the body."

^Explain?

It is a cheap source of protein as it is produced as a by product of animal farming.
It is not particularly balanced wrt its amino acid profile, but this can be ameliorated by consuming it along with higher quality / more amino balanced protein sources eg egg.

Gelatin was what I thought straight away but I may be wrong on that.

Surely though, like all proteins it must be broken down to its component parts anyway, before it gets in the blood, and hence to where it will be used? So it would no longer be collagen by the time it is able to be utilised anyway - it would have to be rebuilt as such.

Increasing collagen synthesis might be a better way, Vitamin C is involved in this :thumbup1:

But to answer your post specifically; no I haven't used, so guess I can't really comment on it real-world.
