I used this product when it first came out, pre the VAT hike, and liked it. I have been using bulk suppliers for my protein requirements and have become a little bored of the flavours, so thought i'd try it out again. (Thus it won't be a staple for me, just a change if I'm feeling flush).

Taste: 5/5

I have tried a few of the flavours, currently on the vanilla flavour. This is simply the best tasting shake out there fore me, it has real pieces of cookies in it, giving a real milkshake like flavour. A good break for the palate after using bulk suppliers for your protein.

Content: 4/5

This is a blend containing WPC, Isolate, hydro, micellar casein, egg albumin and calcium caseinate. I am being favourable here and as there isn't a specific breakdown I hope the caseinate doesn't make up a large amount of the protein. carb content is quite high at 10g per 29g pro serving, but only 1g of that is sugar.

I gave it a higher score for content than I would normally as it does contain 5g of creatine per scoop, 2.5g of betaine, and some added BCAA's.

Value: 3/5

It is a premium product, it always will be with Ronnie's name on it. £50/2.2k tub. But the taste alone and added extras do separate it from the pack a little.

Overall: 4/5 (**)

** Would recommend as a change to your usual protein powder rather than as a staple, obviously most of us will use a bulk supplier but if fancy something a bit different and very tasty then worth a try.

Good review.

this was on offer on ebay so i bought a tub as I heard it was one of the best tasting shakes out there plus the profile is very good too.
It was a clearance offer so quite cheap (wouldn't get it otherwise as it's very pricey imo)
I ordered the Choc cookies flavour

Taste: 2/5
I honestly didn't rate it nearly as highly as others. It has a good profile with a hefty dose of creatine but imo this detracts from the flavour. If you get a whey powder and mix it with 5g creatine separately you always get that powdery sort of taste and texture. This isn't as bad but still resembles that imo. The flavour itself wasn't better than the bulk powders imo but the texture was. Creamy texture when mixed even with water.

Content: 4/5
Like Levstar said, it has a great mix of proteins but reason it wasn't a 5/5 is because it doesn't specify the breakdown of each.
BCAA profile is very good and like getting two products in one if you like creatine because you get 5g with each serving.

Value: 2/5
I got it on offer so worked out well price-wise. the normal price for this is too much imo and paying extra for a brand name. I wouldn't mind paying extra if the taste was incredible but I found it to be average in all honesty.
