Trapped nerve in spine neck

I wanted to share this and get it out there incase anybody is having the same experience as what I went through. A while ago I ended up with a trapped nerve in my neck (spine). The injury happened while doing shrugs on the shrugs machine in my local gym. I was really into my bodybuilding for a good while and I was kind of overloading the weights on the machine. A couple of times this nerve got trapped in my spine but after a good night sleep it would release. I wasn’t really too sure what was happening and stupidly carried on regardless. On the last time this happened it didn’t release. The effects of it being trapped was muscle fade all down my left arm and fading on my left side of my chest. I couldn’t sleep properly with the pain from the injury and no pain killers I could get my hands on were strong enough to make a difference. I went to the doctors who sent me to hospital to get checks done on it. They told me there was nothing they could do to help. As it’s with the spine there would of been a danger of me being paralysed if they risked operating on me and it went wrong. After 6 months of agony I thought I’d try a herbal remedy called Optiflex Glucosamine 1,325mg. This took roughly 2 to 3 weeks to kick in and one morning I woke up and I was no longer in pain. The Glucosamine had lubed up my joints so much the nerve had been realised. The rehabilitation of my arm and chest must of took about a year to build the muscle back up again but I was finally over this bad experience. I wanted to put this out there incase anyone is going through the same thing and feels a bit stuck with it like I did

Deep tissue massage sorted mine within a few weeks.

That’s good to know. I tried normal massages an acupuncture as well a few times but it didn’t make a difference for me

If you’re close to Birmingham hit me up and I’ll sort you out mate.
