Hungarian Oak Leg Blast Routine

lol looks fun! but doesnt have any photos of the guys legs? legs day tomorrow for me, may give it a blast!
 
Well I just did it [finished about an hour ago].


And my legs have completely seized up! Dom'd already.


Here is what I did:-


Squats


15 reps warm up


12 reps Warm up


10 reps Working


Then I did low weight like mentioned in the article


60KG x 3mins


60KG x 3m 20sec [OUCH!!!]


Then some regular squats [my legs were fried]


10 reps working


8 reps working


I could really feel the fibres in my quads pinging in the last 2 sets.

SLDS = 15/15/12/6


Calf Raises = 30/25/25/25


Job Done!


I wont be able to walk tomorrow!
 
i like the idea of this routine.


chris i think you did damn well doing it with any weight at all first time in.
 
Thanks Cal - Its a strange way of training [not counting reps and trying to go on for as long as you can]


I think its a mental thing also.


BTW - yes my legs are sore today!
 
not surprised anything different makes you sore the next day.


you did the reps continously yeah?

i do BW squats each workout but 60 slow ones kill me...
 
I did them like outlined in the article.


Slow constant movement - but being pretty explosive on the push.


I felt so sick! you need to be pretty fit IMO

Dom'd to say the least!


Its a nice 'satisfying' feeling though.


I think this will be great to use as a shock factor.
 
Monday: Start new cycle


Monday: Start new leg routine


Lets see what happens!
 
Are you going to throw some of this into the new leg routine [bTW they are still dom'd!]
 
I'll do my normal leg routine on saturday but with some 20 reppers thrown in. Then start this the following saturday.


Only part i'm not sure on, what happens when you get to say 4 mins when you should be doing 5, and you physically cannot do one more rep, do you pause until you can force another out or...?


I've got nothing to lose so its worth a try. <_<
