trap city. I pull 310 and sont have half those thibk like anything its genetics.

Haven't done a bit of calves work in years and they are bigger than most people's quads. Rather have gigantic traps tho they are cool as fuck

In all honesty i think id rather have decent calves though. If i wear shorts i look like someone who always skips leg day!
I might go for some kettlebell swings etc, keeps training fresh when you try new things!
310kg is immense! I would love to pull 300kg+ one day.
honestly i feel like ive got 3 of the boards strongest helping me out in this journal so far! Result!
 
I did train yesterday. It was squat, bench, row day and i chucked a few extras in to finish off.

Squat 5 x 5 - 100kg (was meant to be 97.5kg!)

Bench 5 x 5 - 100kg (as above!)

Row 5 x 5 - 90kg

Lat raise/ upright row - 3 sets

Dips 3 x 5 - +25kg

Overhead tri/ press down - 3 sets

Eatings been pretty consistent hitting around 4000 cals per day, majority of its clean but the odd sausage and egg mcmuffin thrown in here and there. The site im working on is right next to a mcdonalds so it would be rude not to!

Ive had a big change of heart about this stronglifts routine, im gonna go back to a split but squat 2x per week. Ill change to a proper powerlifting style routine if i decide to compete seriously.
I finished work by 1pm yesterday so quickly did an arms session. Not something i would usually do but i only had 40mins and i enjoyed it tbh.

Reverse grip bench - 3 x 12 - 90kg

Close grip dips - 3 x 20

Ez curls - 3 x 15 - 40kg

Pinwheels - 3 x 12 - 25s

Overhead cable/ pressdown (superset) -
3 × 12/12 - 50kg

Machine preachers -3 sets then drop sets to kill them off.

Ate a shitload yesterday, had my little boy so we went out and ate and ate. It was nice but im still full and havent even had breakfast! Lol
 
Can't be a good arm pump. That's what I just trained having a huge cooked dinner now lovely!

Mate, im sat in the carvery waiting for a table as we speak! Cant wait! Im gonna destroy the all you can eat buffet bit!
 
Now youve mentioned it desert could be a good shout! The place im at is known for massive cheesecakes and sundaes!
What sort of cheesecake you going for?

The carvery I go to I always have carrot cake with pouring cream!!

How was your food?
I went for belgian toffee waffle cheesecake with honeycomb ice cream, salted caramel ice cream and banana and butterscotch ice cream. It was good but i feel like i wanna throw up!

The salted caramel was good but the honeyco ice cream was the bollocks!

I did legas last night then ended up working until 1am, got to bed at 2am and up again for work at 5.30am.... :/

Quads and calves

Deep squat - loads of sets up to 5 x 135kg

Single leg press- 5 x 10- 60kg on the sled

Leg ext (sloooow) - 5 x 15 - 50kg

Seated calves- 5 sets

It doesnt look like a lot but those leg ext were a killer! Hammered quads!
