So fellas hope this is in the right section.

Was.having a a chinwag yesterday with a big 'ol boy at my gym and he claims his 'blasts' come in the form of AAS and his cruises are of course smaller doses but also included big whacks of insulin in there to keep growing. No slin during his blasts. Anyone got any take on this or experience? My blasts were just always the kitchen sink and then a ml of test with metformin.

What you lads reckon?

I've used slin loads big fan of Lantus rather than Novorapid. However a blast for me has always been to throw the kitchen sink at it gear wise and with slin, never occurred to me that it could.be used effectively to keep growing while cruising.

Anyone got experience with this?

It's basically staying on a cycle isn't it
Some people view a cruise as giving your body a break from everything and just using enough test to be in 'normal' range
Others just lower the dose and switch compounds
Personally I dont think its healthy to keep growing
I believe you need that maintenance phase to let your body catch up with the muscle growth and hold it there for a few months
Just to keep growing must put a huge strain on the body

Yeah I should have put that in perspective. Most peoples' cruises (mine included aren't cruises by the definition of the word). He was just talking about using the advantage of slin when you have some downtime from whatever doses/compounds you're using so you can still continue to progress. Cheers anyway for the insight mate

With the lantus do you get a general hunger throughout the day? Does I make it increase

Do you have to have sugars on hand or does it never spike that violently?

Never peaks its a 24 hour slin so basically keeps you anabolic throughout the day. I have had sugars to hand when I first started as was super cautious but never needed to use them once.

As long as you eat regular and don't do out daft like keto you'll have no problems at all. Ive found the higher dosage used the hungrier you get though, I prefer to try and make the most of it and try and eat like a horse while on it. When you come off any excess fat can be stripped easily with a bit of effort can't it.

?? Firstly I was referring to the blast and cruise regarding AAS usage. Second as @pooley1810 pointed out there aren't many that truly b&c anyway so I suppose it is a mute point.

So to clarify, and this was just a convo I had with a lad in the gym, he said when he 'cruises' whatever that may be, AAS wise, that's when he uses insulin. When he blasts on AAS thats when he takes the slin out. Just a different approach I hadn't heard of before.

My coach had me utilise slin and gh at higher doses on down time (175mg a week test cruise).

The lad I spoke to swears by it and he's a big old boy, though of course I dont know what his 'cruise' dose is either lol

I finished my blast 107ish kg. Carried on pushing cals in a cruise up to 112kg. So yes it did work. Composition didn't really change and having the slin pre workout still gave me the mega pumps I was no longer getting from a test and dhb cycle I had done.
Im now back on (test, dhb and deca) and have dropped the slin out and Hgh now, and I'm up to 113.7kg. Food was increased through out my 'cruise' time. Bf% hasnt changed much at all with the weight gained. Obviously not as cut but nothing a mini cut won't sort out.
