I'm not though. You've just never said anything other than vague statements and then as soon as I asked you (genuinely) what you think the real agenda is you get in a huff and say you're not talking anymore.

I've already agreed with you that I don't believe the government should be mandating masks, but at the same time there's no realistic ulterior motive for them to be doing so.

Just to add to that war and peace type post the 4 biggest underlying factors in serious covid illness and death are Age, Hypertension, obesity and diabetes though you could argue the last 3 are linked in a lot of cases.
The hypocrisy of all this is nothing has been done for any of these issues and in fact lockdowns have only increased the latter comorbidities in the U.K. at least.

All I've done is converse with a couple of members from a neutral viewpoint just to try and understand their way of thinking.

Sorry, but the fact you can make multiple posts about it in this thread without naming a single actual reason you think this is happening besides the official ones, or a single piece of evidence makes me very sceptical.

Go through my posts over the many years I’ve been here and you’ll find I’m a very chilled out guy and never personally attack anyone. However you opened this thread with that statement then proceeded to insult people who you disagree with. The fact you seem to think it’s everyone else on here that disagrees with you that has a problem says a lot about your mindset and attitude towards others.

Yeah, I definitely agree with that. There's always surveillance creep with any crisis used as an excuse. Same thing happened post 9/11. Other countries are definitely doing this but I don't share your opinion that that's what's happening here with face mask policies. I think the government is genuinely shitting itself about the prospect of having to go into another lockdown if hospitalisations go back up and that's the reason for the sudden kneejerk reaction to bring back masks

Cheers mate, it is indeed but a good few years ago I’m a lot chunkier these days Went a bit off the rails with drugs/drink/mental health issues after that comp and stopped training for a good while then got into powerlifting. Don’t think I’ve a log on here I’m sure I had one on ukm though.

Changed from bodybuilding to powerlifting... Deffo signs of mental health issues there only joking sorry to hear that mate, is it because you restricted your self so much precomp do you think that lled to going off the rails? What were your stats back then

I had undiagnosed PTSD and depression from time in Afghanistan so chucking tren on top of that and severely restricting calories probably wasn’t the best idea . All good now though, enjoy training and eating well. Think I was 85/90kg on stage at 5.11” mate. That was in 2014 though I’m a festive 120kg nowadays but looking to get down to -110 to compete in Scottish GPC early-mid next year.

I and many others think all the restrictions are connected, a sort of tip toe on the path to making the public accept the digital ID. And everything they will bring in on the back of it (another conversation)

I fear the level of control that they have planned for us is basically unacceptable to most people, hence the fear campaign and therefore the hope (which is clearly working) that it’s conditioning the public to accept it

Some people like yourself I presume would say that’s you just being paranoid thinking of the worst case scenario, my reply to that would be why would you all even allow these people who do not give two fucks about you and your family to end up in the position where the worst case scenario is even a possibility?

This bullshit is all connected and people need to stop going along with it, because where we could end up is a very bad place
