Hgv ?

You ever speak to wrecker drivers? I genuinely rarely meet people who work as many mad hours as they do. Our wrecker almost runs 24/7 through the cold months.
A lot of em will do 4 on 4 off and run 24/7 mate

A day shift and a night shift

Money is pretty pants though from what I’ve seen considering it’s quite a hard job

Yea, 365 on call 24/7. But, during these times, firms are paying decent money to keep their trucks going.

Its certainly not for everyone!

Proper brain dead’s job that laa! Basically in the cheap Labour category. Might as well be a Bosnian migrant in terms of job prospects.

Try reversing a 50ft Arctic with a 40ft long and 20ft wide load on the back up a single track lane with low hanging branches and blind corners with only a banksman to guide you. See how much brain you'll be using then mate

Numbskull could do it.

I work for a logistics company in the SE and we pay around £14-£15 per hour although there are other businesses locally that are paying a little more. We still have a large number of vacancies so its certainly a job worth considering.

Minus tax and NI (poss student loans, pension, CSA payments if you have them)
Sick pay and holiday pay are not subtracted from your hourly wage.

I get £265 a day salary. 182 days a year (minus 22 holiday days)

Some days I do 13 hrs but some days like Sunday I did 3.5

Average would be 10 hrs a day

Not bad imo
