How many carbs do you eat when cutting?

Is this pic from 4weeks out?
I know its all a learning curve etc and 1st show etc etc but imo if this is 4weeks out id say your behind...
What's back and legs condition looking like?

Picture was 5 weeks out just after holiday, I meant that 4 weeks out I'll be dropping carbs more. I'm 3 weeks out now doing fasted cardio every morning and weights 5 times a week with cardio after from now on I'll try and get some pics later to see what you think. I'd say my torso is getting there with body fat but legs are being stubborn. Like you say it's a learning curve it's my first show I'm drinking a lot of water and hoping that when I dehydrate it'll sharpen things up, update later with some pics if I can. Thanks for positive criticism anyway

So youre going from no cardio to dropping calories AND doing cardio twice a day? Seems a bit excessive to me IMO. I reckon that a small calorie drop and the addition of only one 25min cardio session per day will be enough to get fat to drop. You want to the least amount of excess activity to get fat to drop. By dropping cals and cardio twice per day you will run the risk of losing muscle and flattening out - not good!

I was doing cardio Wednesdays and Sundays previously, I'm only slightly dropping calories but I'm holding fat in certain areas that I want to shift it's early days but just from starting last Friday I appear to have noticed a good change I will be keeping an eye on things and trying not to be too excessive. All cardio is low intensity 130-140bpm 40mins in morning and 15-20mins after weights so only 60mins total a day

just note here that the body won't get rid of fat in certain areas that you want it to. everyone is genetically different so you have to just keep at it and the bodyfat will be lost from where the body wants to lose it first. that boils down to genetics. some people have absolutely shredded legs but their back is very fat. some (like me) get a shredded back but the legs are last to come in. just have to keep your head down and keep plugging away and see how the changes come. all the best mate:thumbs:
