Coaches And There "mates"

Only ever worked with Hilly, contact has to be reduced at end of the day I no longer pay for his time. But we do still have some contact.
In fact I'm going to ask him to be my best man and the god father of my next kid

Not Srs about last sentence. He'd show me up at the alter the handsome fucker lol.

If you thought he would say yes you would ask him imo

I think it depends. It a small niche sport we are in and many think we are anything from mad to total cunts for doing it so it makes sense you may became friends with a coach. Few of my best friends in life were students when I was teaching Thai boxing as we went through a lot .....but I can see what is meant. If you are training with someone day in day out and helping them it would be hard to not strike up friendships

On a side note still hate this benderish hiding behind an anonymous post, if you've something to say just say it as yourself!

Would have thought it's obvious they'll be matey.
It's in both parties' interests to get along - and banter/mateyness is king for that.

I get quite friendly with clients. Atleast I hope they think so. Most hey my nunber or what's app at some point. I still speak to several after we stop working together. Contact is obviously a lot less tho. It's just life.

However I no exactly what you guys mean with certain people

I see what hilly did there

It's obvious you're going to build up a trust and friendship with your coach if you're with them for a decent amount of time, it's just the tools like Scott who slap it all over social media and have no other friends in life other than his clients is probably the example the op is making. I do look on his insta page though, 1- to wank over pics of the fit blond bird and 2- to make myself realise I'm blessed with long standing decent chums.

I do the same just over scott as I yearn to be so connected, admired and essentially so vitally important to the global health/fitness and athletics world.
