Controlling Hormones Advice Needed Through Diet And Supps.

    I believe after my workouts my cortisol/estrogen and possibly prolactin levels shoot up and remain high for long periods I gain weight almost overnight in water and my left nipple gets sensitive and puffy and weak erections... if I take a week off from lifting and eat like a pig gluttonous the water weight shifts... my nipple deflates and my erections return.

    when I'm on a cut it's at it's worst I don't noticed it just as bad bulking as i'm eating plentiful and probably boosting my testosterone...

    What is the perfect foods/supps/diet to be on for someone with this kind of issue ? for example if I'm cutting what foods should I be eating and supps to keep testosterone high and those other ones at bay?

    are you using any drugs or supplements at all

    whats your age and BF

    have you had blood tests (if so pre and post using)...when was most recent and what were the levels

    I have a prolactinoma and I brought this up with my endo recently and he ran tests aswell as being quite dismissive... I don't know how a man at 32 never been able to achieve a full erection during sex isn't an issue or that my left nipple puffs up like a balloon not and then is normal but he ran tests and this was my letter with results it obv means nothing to me but maybe you might spot something.


    I have no problem getting gainz... my friends constantly think I'm on the juice as I get bigger and bigger week to week and I agree with them, I also never tire in the gym, it's like hulk the angrier he gets the stronger he gets... I get stronger and stronger as my session goes on.... it's after the session that I gradually begin to bloat up hugely... my nipple starts to puff out and occasionaly gets tingly and then despite being horny cant achieve even a semi... not that I can get a full erection apart from once in a blue moon but it's at its worst post workout.

    this is usually where someone says see a specialist problem is my specialist is interested in numbers on paper not my symptoms :/

    find another specialist. I cant believe that any decent doc wouldn't recognize ED issues - get a second opinion

    actually though reading through he tested for most things... no estrogen levels though but prolactin. Which from your condition is known to cause ED issues in some. Your Caber is bringing this into range but maybe that range isn't good enough for you.... so you maybe need to explain this better to someone - yes your prolactin is "in range" but your sex drive is not. Simple remedy is use some Cialis or Viagra for now rather than have a shit sex life. seek second opinion and go that route.



    ....or as somewould say on here - subscription to Brazzers :-)

    by supps I meant more like steroid like compounds - so OTC or off the net type things that be be just as harmful and side effect laden as genuine steroids

    Nothing mate had considered some test supps just to give me a boost as I'm always carrying fat around my waist ass and abs even when the rest of me leans out but decided best not with my hormone issues and the prolactinoma.

    As of right now I take the protein shakes, fish oil, multi vit, zinc, p5p ( good for prolactin it is said), l arginine ( meant to be good for erections but not noticed been on for a month).

    A know but nhs is crap... they just fog you off he is my new endo has another endo before this one but he moved and he was just as unhelpful... i'd go private but heard half the private docs are the same as the ones you get on nhs....

    I know there is something way off.... if I take a week off lifting my face goes back to normal can see cheekbones etc.... if I do one lifting session after the workout and for about 3 days my face is bloated and round like the moon.

    so right now i'd try anything to limit this.

    none of us here are Endos. we are all guessing - at best someone has had similar and can offer some light.
    I would always put my health above anything in terms of if I wasn't happy id go to another doc and if that didn't work go private and get someone else. explain everything - possible youll get some test or ED drugs.... see what they say

    if that failed then look into it - but with an ongoing medical issue id not just start using just yet - if the private path repeated the same stuff then sure.

    yeah I totally get that was just hoping someone as you said might have recognized the symptoms and be able to point me in direction, I cant help but feel it is cortisol/estrogen related... as it's only after working out I get these issues... I swear if I stop working out and become a fat ass eating fast food my erections come back full force but then I can't get any to use it lol!!!

    so catch 22 only time I've ever got a woman is being in shape of some sorts but my erections are non existent.... if I stop being in shape... erections return but cant get none... fml :L

    look at the playboy bunnies - they don't flock around chiseled guys....Fat bloke with a yacht wins everyday........ :-)

    it sounds like you have an issue - im guessing your diet is good...lot of high quality fats and some carbs...that you can control

    hmmm I'm not so sure about the high quality fats thought if I'm being honest, could this be a big problem ?

    my basic shopping list is as follows.

    Chicken chicken and more chicken...
    chilli sauce for flavouring my meals Asian variety
    stir fry boxes
    veggie boxes
    dark choc 85 %
    rice pudding for a treat
    potatoes for baking mostly
    noodles
    eggs
    sausage
    wholemeal rolls
    tea
    milk
    honey ( instead of sugar) for tea
    hike protein bars
    cheese
    coleslaw

    breakfast : sausage and egg in wholemeal roll with cup of tea.
    lunch : chicken wrap of some kind and protein shake
    workout around here.
    dinner : grilled chicken with either potatoes cheese and coleslaw or veg or noodles stirfry and sauce
    snack : dark choc or rice pudding cup of tea protein bar.

    this has been my cutting diet been hitting calories and macros and weighing my food.

    id be saying add things like Avocado, salmon, mackerel, good quality beef - that diet could be improved - from a general health point of view, let alone for aesthetics IMO

    quite a lot of pre packed stuff ...id try to have fresh and natural where possible too - just to remove things that go into processed foods, which may help... no guarantee but Its what I would do
