Getting Shredded Weight Lost?

For those that have become truly shredded (that guy at the shows that simply stands out compared to all others due to his leanness) how much weight did you have to drop.
Lets say a 200lb man at 10% in THEORY would need to drop 12lb to be at 4% (no one is getting much leaner than that. I think Meadows hit 3.7% and you don't see anyone leaner than him).
Of course this does not happen and you end up losing a lot more.

My personal observation is that I lose 1lb lean tissue (not just muscle but overall lean weight) for 2lb of fat in order to get down to 7% (drug free obviously it's different if you add chemicals into the mix) But I never gone lower than that.

I would imagine once you hit 6% you would start losing gross amounts of muscle in relation to body fat?

Can only speak from a drug-enhanced perspective but tissue loss from 10% down to the realms of 6% or perhaps slightly lower was minimal if existant with a CKD approach, test prop, winstrol, gh, eph and t3.
That said, I am now dieting AAS-free and it is completely night and day - nothing seems to work. Lol.

From speaking to, reading and listening to a lot of nattys they ALL say that they needed to lose a LOT more than they initially thought.

e.g. the guy on the left (Jeff Nippard) recently won his WNBF pro card. This pic is when he competed in 2012 at 150lbs. Cant find a recent one but basically he had more muscle this time round and competed at 140lb and was a LOT more shredded and obv looked bigger on stage. He is 5ft 5. 140lb we will all agree is VERY light but he looks phenomenal as you can see. I really do think people do place too much emphasis on bodyweight.

I weighed in at 165lbs in my avi pic but from looking at pics myself and from speaking to other trusted been-there-done-it guys in the sport I would have looked a LOT better if i lost more. My aim next time I get on stage is to be 160lbs. I spoke to Bobby Khan and he said the same thing and he is a guy who knows his stuff!

IMO a lot of competitors lie about their stage weight. If you really knew how much some guys weighed you would be surprised!

Also I was listening to a podcast yesterday and someone said the following that I also whole heartedly agree with: If you have a strong genetic structure i,e no real glaringly weak bodypart then you can get away with being softer on stage, however if you have any weak bodyparts or arent the biggest guy then you absolutely need to be shredded to the bone as it will create a better illusion on stage.

^^ defo agree with this and you can almost always see it when you have a black guy on stage with a beautiful shape who will place very highly when he is easily out-conditioned by a lot of guys he is alongside with on stage. At the end of the day its about the whole package and every competitor IMO needs to find what "combination" fits their look the best. And that's the fun part of it all IMO :)

^Good post Hasmann.
I actually get much better once my tan goes on and I pump up.
My body pumps better than other people I have realized.
This is why I was able to win on stage even though I was not the leanest....by a long shot.
Now I want to get properly nasty lean....to win and for promo pics for my business.

you are one of few with IMO very good genetics so can probably get away with "lesser" condition

BUT ive said it before and im gonna say it again - if conman shows up with ULTRA shredded veins in glutes condition then its lights out game over hand him the trophy once prejudging is over without a doubt

you just gotta suffer! if that means turkey, white fish and asparagus for a few weeks then so be it! fucking do it!

My problem has never been suffering.
My problem is beginning the suffering way too early and then burning out before condition is fully achieved.
Hence why the slowly slowly approach atm.

Regarding genetics I think the fact that my waist gets small and my lats are big gives an impressive illusion especially because I am a short dude.

Yeah I have done some thing very few seem to do and that is transition in reverse from untested to tested.
I think it's because I am young and never hit any thing overly hard my hormones came back fine.
I would never do a true natural show....a show that tries to set it self apart by drug testing winners is fine but doing any thing else would be a joke IMO.

My first show was the leanest ive been. I def lost tissue then. Over dieted n over thyroid meds but reckon I lost 4-6lb muscle. The famous toilet seat pic. I got calipered at3.9 in the uni lab n iy took ages as they couldn't get pinches. I felt like death for 2-3 weeks up to this. Could barely function

What was the key in getting rid of the last bit?
Do you feel drugs played a big role or was it simply grinding and grinding.
Most people would just say grinding so wouldn't be worth asking but knowing you it will be a legit reply.

Combination. At 4 weeks out I thought I was fat. So upped t3 from 50 to 100

Added a sunday cardio session in for n hour so from 6-7 sessions n increased heart rate from 130 to 135 plus

Also started doing extra cardio on a night like walking to shop or to a mates

Took training from 5 days to 7 if I remember right

Eddy ellwood saw me in the gym at 4 weeks out n said I looked better then than on stage however I messed my load up n he also prefers guys bigger than leaner

I was that depleted first day load I hit 600g clean carbd plus 8l water n lost a lb

Couldn't remember conversations, hypo n loose balance alot

Plus side I took my top off in an exam n even the physiology teacher couldn't believe it. Said he suprised I was walking about lol. Must of been lean ha

When you upped t3. Did you know that would eat into muscle tissue. Cos I think unless you are stupid high dose, it's inevitably with 100mg. No way I could do that. My gaaiinnnzzzz!!
