"i Don't Eat For Taste, I Eat For Function."

Do you agree with this quote?

"I don't eat for taste, I eat for function."

Is the taste of your food important, or are you happy to eat bland food all day long as long as it gives you the results you desire?

Unless you are a competitive bodybuilder in the midst of a comp prep, i dont see any reason why anyone would adopt this philosophy.

I can understand If it's for medical reasons or a more deep rooted battle with food demons, but if not then eat as wide a variety of foods as possible, try new things and enjoy it!

I dont care what it is if it taste like shite I wontbe eatin it. Next man can be as "hardcore" as he likes forcin down bland meal after bland meal... no thanks mate I like to enjoy life and that includes my food

With the amount of eatin we have to do it makes it so much easier if the food tastes decent, and its not hard to with a few herbs and spices

I like my food to taste nice n do my best to make sure it does.

There is no need to eat bland food imo

^^^ this

Even if you are competing and prepping you can use herbs and spices to make food taste really nice.

Ppl who eat bland food chose to do so imo and if they dont wanna make the effort then thats fine but they cant say its got to be like that!

doesn't matter if I've spent time prepping my food so it tastes nice or i eat it bland as fuck.......i still end up cheating anyway lol. so quickest & simplest for me too

I quite often force a meal down i dnt enjoy.
Depends what fits really...

To sprinkle some herbs and spices takes 2 seconds boys, you could scratch your nuts in less time than it takes to put some flavour on your food

Oh, I have herbs on food, just don't make my meals really fancy or anything.

Fortunately im always hungry...so everything tastes good. I like my meat plain as well so that a bonus.

Bit of both really.

I actually really enjoy cooking meals at home. I'll happily spend an afternoon in the kitchen doing a Sunday dinner with all the trimmings, making my own gravy etc... but I can't lie, when preping food en mass it is a bit of a chore at times so it's not always up to the standard I'd dish up for other people, but saying that I can't remember the last time I sat and ate just plain chicken and rice.

If I do have something bland it's generally because I've not prepped anything or left my lunches at home so might just pick up a dozen eggs to do in the microwave at work. But then again I might also pick up a pasty and wash it down with a shake.

My whey is unflavoured though, so I guess that's for function rather than taste.
