Any body else have power coffee pre work out?
Tbs strong coffee
Tbs coconut oil
1 scoop whey preferably vanilla or caramel
Tsp sweetener, I use stevia
Blend and pour in a latte glass,
Tastes amazing and mega energy boost from the caffeine and mct's

I read a study once that showed no performance enhancement from coffee, but some from pure caffeine.

They were not sure what it was in the coffee negating the effect of the caffeine?

As far as i remember but don't quote me, its the heat that denatures the caffine in coffee.

But people do get a stimulant effect from coffee, so it can't completely make the caffeine inert, or all hot coffee would be decaf.

Think I heard on a Phil Graham podcast that bodybuilders shouldn't take caffine pre workout as it narrows the blood vessles (or something along those lines) stopping the blood reaching the muscle as affectively. Strongmen and powerlifter style training it's fine for apparently.
