Hi guys,

Anyone here administer T subcutaneously or have experience with it?

I've been experiencing bad PIP since switching to UGL from pharma and looking for some options to reduce / eliminate it. Seems to be gathering a following with the TRX crowd...

Yep, but only with small amounts.

I started using a 1.5" in the quad and found that has helped a lot

Don't do it.

I have access to some legit 400mg/ml test blend, I was considering 3 x weekly sub Q shots of 0.5ml.

Why do you say this?

Guys on TRT have been doing it for years, I've read elsewhere of guys who favour it due to less PIP and ease of administration.

Do you have any personal experience with it?

You'll probably run out spots to put it in no time. I've found .5ml still gives a pretty big lump for at least 7 days (at least when I've done it with high concentration gear)

Works better for hrt as you can do a couple of much smaller shots.

Could you be getting pip from bad technique or where you're putting it?

Or try a different lab, could be the carrier oil?

Wildcat kicks like a mule for example

SubQ is really for aqueous buffered solutions which absorb quickly.

SubQ oil-based gear will do no harm, but as said can leave a lump for a while, and has a slower absorption rate (in addition to the half-life of the ester).

SubQ need not only be done in the tum. SubQ MT2 in the quad is useful to reduce queasiness, for instance.

But if you know how to inject properly you won't get PIP from an IM injection. Don't forget that glutes and delts are best for others injecting you; quads and pecs are best for self-injection. Read TM's stickies.

PIP comes overwhelmingly from the benzyl benzoate and benzyl alcohol in the gear. Some labs use large amounts to keep high concentration gear in solution and to avoid any pathogen problems.

There is a thread over at UKM about a guy who pinned test subq.

He now has lumps under his skin on his belly, hopefully it's just the oil that will disburse soon.

Surely you can just rotate sites ? Delts, glutes, quads, pecs, traps.

Depending on how much muscle you carry I find those sites easy and relatively pain free.

The lumps go, they are only really bad if you put too much in one spot.

.3ml is about enough

Fair enough dude.

I wouldn't be comfy with lumps still, with such small amounts I'd have more pricks that a second hand dart board :D

Yeah that's why it's best for trt only, run out of places to put it pretty soon!

A lot of guys talk about running out of sites, but think about it:

The area available on one of a bodybuilder's quads will be at least 6 inches by 2. That's 12 sites, or 24 on both quads before you have to return to the first site.

My technique is fine as far as I'm aware, had no PIP off pharma gear but I can no longer source it. Last cycle was WC and the PIP was pretty bad, hence looking at Sub Q. I inject my quads for reference, for safety and convenience.

It's the carrier oil wildcat use without any doubt. Switch to a different lab
