I have a prob with training legs heavy

i just cannot do it now due to a hip flexer and joint problem

what exersizes can i do ? which wont put too much stress on this area

How do you feel with leg press, if you can stabilize the hips and back area on the padding and just really focus on leg work and driving with the legs rather than the hips and lower back.

What leg work can you do at the moment? ? ?

K-man... As you know, I have a total metal hip and my leg workout is limited. I can't go heavy and am not supposed to take my hip past 90deg. I just have to stick with lighter weights. Nothing more I can do so I know how restrictive it can be.

Hope someone can suggest something to help both of us.

Lunges

Heres a few exercises to try, im not sure how you'll find them but i suspect some will be ok if lunges are!

Bulgarian split squat

step up

Split squats

Barbell reverse lunges

Barbell reverse lunges, front foot elevated

Low-pulley split squats, front foot elevated

Pull throughs

All the best

They look good Tom.

Especially for injuries in the past where it means that single leg work is then favourable.
