That said if this means there will be more transformation/brutal set of the month/mangina contests I am 100% for this move:beer:
 
I thought I'd read a post saying that even if the rewards system is stopped, members will still be able to spend any points they have, which is why I was saving mine up! Don't know where I got that from then :lol:

tbh i think it would be fairer to say ppl can spend what they have made up to this point... and at least finish the month ( not adding any more on though ) as then it stops but in a fair way.

me and ashley had cash to spend but was waiting to the 3rd when its processed so have already paid for a smaller protien tub, id of spent it on a big bag if id have knew. leave many short changed really as many kept there end of teh bargain and started quality posts which have been veiwed and contibuted to the forum.

i know its a must which is fair but to stop it without notice and so ppl loose what they have earned this far is unfair and imo not a great way to show members they are respected.. and no one can call me for just being tight as i was teh one starting the thread saying a good option would be to pay fo rthe site, that said id prob reonsider if things will be ran unfairly

I'm sorry guys, knew it wouldn't be popular with many but this is being done for the right reasons. Just feel the money would be better spent on creating more competitions, features and additions like the new App (which is based on Tapatalk and will be free) and additional reporting.

I know it's a pain for those of you were saving them up. It's not much but for those of you that had more than £10 in your balance, I'm happy to send a t-shirt out? If so, please PM @Admin delivery and size details.

Sizes are a bit limited atm though - Medium, XL, XXL & XXXL in stock.

I can see the frustration but I was upfront when the system started saying I didn't know just how sustainable it would be and that it may stop at any time, we'd just see how it goes.

This is one of those situations where you're damned if you do and damned if you don't. Thousands of pounds have been spent on free supplements for members but this seemed the right time to call it a day on this system and move on to other competitions and features that would benefit far more people. People have had 6 months to claim for supplements and as you said yourself, you've claimed free supplements so it's not like you've lost out really, it's just a bit of unfortunate timing that means you don't get quite as many supplements as potentially you could of done (but you've still saved money).

As I keep saying, this money isn't now being pocketed, it's just being spent on other areas that I believe will help benefit more people. There will still be plenty of opportunities to get free supplements and I have now offered a free t-shirt as a bit of an apology for those people that were sitting on a balance above £10.

Perhaps as an alternative to the t-shirt we could look into giving away existing balances above £10 but only 50% of the value or something. Trouble is nobody is going to be happy here, impossible to please everyone, however I'm all for keeping it as fair as possible.
