building a champion (run up to the Brits )

Jim

2x British Champ
Competitor
Well i was going to call this journal some thing like road to the Brits bla bla bla but thats probably the most un original and un inventive title going lol

any way this is a follow on to my journal "Desire to be the best" that covered my off season and competition prep running from November 2011 to April 2012.

On the 29th of April 2012 at the ukbff south east qualifier in Portsmouth I competed in the MrU80k class were i weighed in at 76k and won the class, I then went on to take the overall too! was an amazing feeling!

Will be following, good to see the progress to Brits

Looking fantastic in the pics but better in person on the day mate... fantastic work and awesome win... well done again...

Well done mate, I have always perceived that the portsmouth show was always a tough nut to crack and you have achieved that one. Good luck with the Brits.

Still great result well done again
Following with great interest mate

Your tan seems quite light Jimbo?
Great result though, very pleased for you.

Anything you would changed on the day or in the run-up to the show?

Il be following as always mate! Smash the Brits :)

When you beginning your begin prep for the Brits? Around august or so?

yea judges said only thing they could fault was my tan was too light...

yes id not have been ill and dropped 2k at 6days out lol i spent the last week trying to fill blackout very slowly with out spilling over and also trying to deplete a little last few days so my last week was like a yoyo in dieting... i think i was flatter because of this... if id have stayed full as i was 2wk out my short carb up would of worked much better... other then that not a lot really as it worked pretty well imo just a little fuller and dryer at the Brits but i should be able to do this by day 2... i hope lol
