Diet Corner

good to hear that your dad is on the mend - I noticed the hosp check in's but didnt like to pry.... which is unlike my nosy self :D

Great that you are back on with the keto - I doubt these couple of weeks will do much harm in the long run. How long you been keto-ing for? Will you take a break and add carbs back in if weight loss stalls?

Cheers Gem :)

Started keto from 1st Jan.

55 days in now, 9kg loss.

I usually have a carb heavy cheat meal every 10 days which seems to be keeping the weight loss ticking over nicely.

Still haven't introduced cardio yet, so that's another option if I begin to stall.

Hey si, sorry to hear the news. Glad he's On the mend pal.

How are you finding your strength and endurance going? Last time I checked your log I think you mentioned a small dip in strength?

Yeah experiencing a small dip in strength and power.

Bar speed is slower making it harder to get through sticking points on a particular lift.

The strength dip isn't huge and certainly isn't enough to feel depressed about. Main thing is to just keep the intensity high.

when i diet and hit the shops if i see foods or treats that i am craving i buy them and get wife to stash in my munchie box for when i finish shows this seems to satify me desire and feels like i am not doing without. box can be stacked to the gunnels after a few months. ha ha. my deiting trates.

I've been doing the ultimate diet 2:0 - lyle mcdonald - for the past 3 weeks. I started transformation comp at 233.3, and started the diet 3 weeks back. Weighed at 226.6 on Tuesday.

Fat seems to be coming off elsewhere but very slow on the stomach, which is where I want it gone :( lo

That's a good idea - but (serious q) dont you ever raid it??? All those goodies right there???

@broady info the same mate but when it gets close to the show and I'm at my most venerable I take the box of stuff to my mums house out the way and drop by with stuff to out in it

Gem. It's good and therapeutic as you see stuff you want in the bastard supermarket you don't need to walk past you can buy it and that makes me feel better about it.

I'm lobs my gonna start my box next week as last nights shopping trip was hellish

Pmsl at broadys use of the word "gunnels"

In for this!

Going down the gym today for my weigh in and some strongman training, interested to see what the scales say as on thursday this week I had fish and chips and a few slices of birthday cake

Quick drive by, i had a packet of jaffa cakes and half an arctic roll last night.

After my gammon, egg and chips.

I'll be having a few beers whilst watching the England Wales game later too.

:D

2 pound loss since getting back to diet since injury... happy with that

I don't get it. I can cut, whilst working in a chocolate factory. Doesn't bother me. But then I do have epic refeeds once every 7 days when cutting.
