Not a bad session had planned to do another event but spent a bit of time on the yoke instead. Log was the usuall shite really although did clean 130 and could probably of pressed it if I hadnt messed about so much with the clean, still it a'n improvment on last week so guess it going in the right direction. Was really happy with the yoke the plan was to go to 380 and after a really poor run with 360 where I could not get balance right and ended up droping it I don't know how many times, 380 was not looking good. Anyway did 380 and had a good run with no drops so decided to give 400 a go. It went quite well considering, had one drop about 3m from the end but it went much better than I expected :).

Did have a couple of other things I had planned to do but ran out of time.
 
Just done a bit of light stone work today, stone around 110 lifted and then lowered to a hight of around 5' did 3 sets of 6.
 
Today I did some event training.....

Frame carry

Then some stones not sure of exact weight but around 120 on to a 54" platform then around 160 a couple of times on to same platform.

Happy with todays session especially as I felt a bit shity with a cold, frame was tough on hands hence the drop, yoke felt good, managed 400 with no drops it felt quite comfortable could of probably gone a bit further if needed. Will try and do yoke first next time and try and get 420 :)
 
Have you seen this?


I can see where it could come in useful it is basicly what I do sometimes, breaking down the lift into difrent parts but I tend to concentrate on the top part of lift as this is where I would tend to break down first.
