Injection sites for frequent jabbing

If jabbing less than 1ml per shot I find bi's, tri's and delts easiest using a slin pin, leaving quads for larger shots.

Ventro glute mate, it's THE site for lack of nerves and blood vessels and will take 3ml with ease. Also importatn to somebody like me is the fat layer stays pretty constatnt regardless of BF so you know it's going in.

Easy to find and it walks off a treat as a muscle used all the time. It's basically a triangle of muscle that runs from hip upto illiac crest (from front of illiac to line straight up from hip)

There are some great nursing guides on finding it as it's a medically recommended shot over the glute.

No it's not. You're no less likely to hit a blood vessel or nerve in the glutes than, say, the quads.

I posted a graphic of the bloodvessels and nerves on UK-M sometime back that shows this - maybe I can find it again.

The glutes are the muscles advocated for injection by others - such as medics - chiefly because the patient is facing away! But they are not the safest for self-injection.

Self-injection of glutes also often results in the same place being over-used, leading to scar tissue.

See my new post on aspiration and sites.

Quads are better for walking off injection - they're in even more motion than glutes even when sitting.

Also, never do injections just before bed, to avoid the injected muscle being static.

I'm about to post a step-by-step safe and sterile injection technique.

really i usually do it about two hours before going to bed

although i always do about 15-20 bodyweight squats after jabbing

i always try and get mine in me before i go training in the evening......but i would not jab a delt followed by training them!!!

Why not!? It's the best way to minimize any PIP.

cos once when i had done a shot of prop and tren in my delt then trained shoulders i was in absolute agony...that sting you get from the prop just got worse and worse as i trained and i stopped training and went home early lol next day my delt swelled up a fair bit so for me i thought i wont do that again and just go for a light massage after jabs now and dont train right onto it.....
so do people find that best then??? jab in the muscle group your just about to train???

Well prop's notorious for PIP anyway! Possibly it helps not to spread it through delt muscle tissue.

But usually massge and use of the muscle is beneficial.
