Years of Nando sauce abuse has ended in not being able to stomach the smell of it anymore lol I'm hooked on the sriracha at the moment
I like most tbh Siracha Nandos garlic / medium Bbq sauce Put some cheese and Worcester sauce on top and grill it
Not much to add really but slow cooker is a must mate, so easy , meat ends up so tender and you can pretty much chuck anything that takes your fancy in. Mince tends to break down a bit too much for my liking but diced meats are bang on. Make various curries chillies stews etc just add a bit of cornflour to thicken if needed and portion up with rice pots etc and I freeze up for the week can do big batches and many days all at once. Not really the weather but soup is really good ,butternut squash, sweet potato chilli and chicken, shredded in ( bit if chorizo too if feeling exotic ) that is awesome, I add 200g of chick per potion I plan to get from batch =1kg 5 portions... There was a soup thread on here a while ago ,@Rick@OlympusHealth had some great ideas too if I recall right. Franks buffalo wing hit sauce is a great addition to plain meals, cheap and fcuk all kcals in it.
Been watching some vids....how important is it to single layer chicken breasts? Can I stack them on top of each other? Maybe a stupid question lol
Just bung them in mate... 8 breasts... pint of stock until breast are covered.. season.. bang on low 6-8hours Once cooked..drain (keep about a cup of stock) shred chicken .. add some of the left over stock to moisten the chicken Done
My staples atm Basa and oven chips Pork loin, potatoes, greens Steak, rice and tomatoes Turkey or pork chilli Eggs, chorizo and cheese, mushrooms and asparagus Chicken, chorizo pasta Turkey burgers, goats cheese, greens Keeps me going
Did I ever post the green eggs one? Eggs, green pesto, peppers, feta and mushrooms. Few cherry tomatoes. Mix the eggs, Pesto and feta. Fry the veg off in a bit of garlic powder, stick the mix in, make omlette. Seal the bottom, finish under the grill form the top and eat. It's surprisingly great.
How'd you do it mate? Just breast with stock ? I ordered a slow cooker last night because of this thread
