Mrwrights Wrong Way To Look Wright

Managed some training today not much but

Squats
Bar
60kg
70kg
90kg
90kg

Nothing major but at least I got some work in

Got my daughter in the gym so was more focused on her
She did deadlift front squats bench OHP rows an some other shit
 
Diet so far today

3 eggs 2 wholemeal toast
Footlong subway mega meat with 3 cookies

Switching routine to 5/3/1 Boring but Big

So Monday will be
OHP 531
Dumbell bench 5x 10
Pull downs 5x10
Arms

Tuesday
Deadlift 531
Squat
Abs

Wednesday will be crying after all that leg work

Thurs
Bench 531
Dumbell shoulder press
Seated rows
Arms

Friday
Squats531
Stiff deadlift
Abs

Saturday
Conditioning


Alot of squatting and my legs are already above the rest of me, and knees dodgy so. might end up swapping 1 of the squats with upper volume work but we shall see
 
Food was 2 Bird's-eye chicken burgers coated in rice krispies or some shit 2 bread shit lot of chips

3 sets 5 reps OHP all & 30kg

Kept it light to start with so this was easy

5 sets 10 reps dumbbell bench

Not done flat dumbbells for years so guessed at 20kg a hand
Started to struggle on the 4th set so dropped to 17.5 for last just to make sure I got all the quality reps in without having to force them

5 sets 10 reps 20kg a side wide grip pull down
Been working on feeling lats during the day stretching them n tensing them n felt great real good connection good burn

Dbell concentration curl SS Dbell overhead Tricep extension

10kg & 20kg
Nice pump

Lack of volume etc and lighter weights was a worry at first but really good workout could of done more but good shit

Having post workout shit now and gonna have wheetabix frosties & hoops with oatmilk & 2 scoops protein

Try doubling your workout..

1 hour i didnt grow much... 2 hours i grow well
 
Time Under Tension

But i dont think holding reps and that cuts the Mustard.... Think of a Dog or a Horse running though a Field - Time Under Tension is longer... or a Monkey climbing up a tree fast - they swing all day and they hella ripped
 
Actually read up about 531 properly and worked out my percentages etc printed out a little sheet to follow n ting

Not really deadlifted much for a while and when I have nothing serious so actually doing reps was a struggle but pushed through and got reps with some left not much tho

Squat 5x10

Knee/leg was hurting which probably made the deadlift a struggle and legs still sore from Saturday so went really light

30kg adjusted foot positioning for a few sets wide close etc in the end knee felt better coming out than going in
That many squats is alot of cardio

2 sets of ab roll outs
Shit shower cereal


Finally kinda settled on the fact I'm not who I used to be and I'm starting again liking the program so far and the structure
And I finally got to use my 0.5kg plates!


Foods been good
4 eggs 2 sausage 2 bread

Handful of different nuts
Few shortbread/pastries/chocolate

Mince with peppers spinach mushroom and Mexican rice
Turkey drummer & chips & bread
Cereal with protein

2+kg up since Friday
Luckily it all feels like it's gone to the right places clothes are tighter around arms back legs
Waist doesn't seem to be effected much but will keep an eye on calories etc

Might use my deload week to drop calories low and cardio fuck out of it just to take the edge off but we shall see

Will try remember have a body measure this week so I'll have some reference
 
No training yesterday and probably not today or tomorrow either maybe squeeze workouts in on weekends

Next week will be similar as going away for a few days

Will start 5/3/1 fresh from the week after and hopefully life will sort itself out and I'll get to train fully

Gonna drop calories for the next few weeks to offset my lack of training


12kg up since mid November with minimal training so I doubt it's good weight

Hopefully being lean and fitter will offset being small
before starting bulk again
