I am about ready for some more protein so am going to order some stuff from myprotein.

So far i have 5kg whey
glutamine
BCAA, not sure on tablets or powder.
Need some form of creatine, had mono last time and didn't feel much from it.

Im thinking of trying extreme nutritions liquid fury and build and recovey but there quite pricey compaired to other.

Opinions ????

creatine mono is the best creatine to use. me personally id stay away from all those post recovery/preworkout stuff, ive used it all and i honestly feel like im stronger without all that garbage. my supplement list is. FOOD, WHey, BCAA, CREATINE MONO, BEta ALANINE and Arginine-citrulline. And green tea. i got caught up in buying all these post workout drink mixes and pre workout and all that but its all marketing.

BCAA powder
EAA powder
CEE Creatine
Alpha Male Vitamins
Whey

If you want a pump you could add some AAKG.

Spent the change on steak and eggs

When do you use the EAA and BCAA's mate? I used to take BCAA's intra workout but gave them up.

Glutamine, creatine, bcaa pre and post workout and a good whey protein is plenty imo

Whats everyones thoughts on Kre-alkylyn? I use extreme nutrition's kr-evolution for my creatine and like it!

CEE does the same job. I used 3x tubs of Kr- Evo with gaps in between. Switched to MP's CEE and got the same results

me personally i think kre alkylyn is load of complete sh*t look up the ingredients and it amounts to basically nothing. not even close to cREATINE mono.

I buy powders when ever i can because you get ten times or more the amount for your money than when in tablet form

Same here. I used MP's tabs and thought they were a waste, but i wasn't taking enough.

I posted a thread asking about this a few days ago.

I drink 15g BCAA during workout (also mixed with 3g CEE and 3g Taurine)

Had been using 20-30g BCAA throughout the day for a while and noticed a real change. Con advised in that thread to use EAA during the day and BCAA at training s i've changed it and will run for a while and see how it goes.

Heard mixed things about glutamine. That it's only good for the gut an doesn't help recovery at all, or it takes 5g just to get throught he stomach so you need 10g per serving. There's so much mixed info out there it's hard to know whats the truth and what works. With suppliments you could go online, have a search about and find proof either way on almost anything.

I've always said to myself .. Im not gonna spend a bomb on this, just gonna get the basics, eat well, work hard and take whatever gains come.

At the mo my supps are: Whey, Casein, Omega 3 tabs, Multi Vit. And im thinking of dropping the Omega's tbh, could do without the casein but i like it :D

Whats benefits have you noticed from using BCAA's and EAA's?

so good posts here. i have always thought that pre/post work out supps, pump supps etc were just a money making thing but was thinking of giving them a go but they do work out expensive.

Think you hit the nail on the head here mate thanks for the advice.

How would you use the arganine ??

The bigger picture here is the obvious question first. How much do you have to spend on supplements and what kind ofdiet are you eating? If you have a lot to spend then id be buying some good steaks before many supplements....

very basics id have Whey concentrat, a simple sugar and some fish oils. After that its all about balancing the budged with supplements and food

3g morning, 3g before workout is what I do personally.
