Opinions On Which Supplements To Buy

I use whey isolate, micellar casein, bcaa and eaa, also i am trying creatine gluconate for the first time.
i use whey isolate and micellar casein, not because my body needs the best quality powders, but i have trouble digesting whey concentrate, protein blends and calcium caseinate.
I have also read that creatine gluconate is easier on the stomach the mono.

If anyone has issues with digesting/stomaching certain powders, give me a shout as i have tried a lot of different brands/powders and it took me ages to find ones i was comfortable with, i have had to give away lots of tubs that have only had one or two servings out of them due to these issues.
I also am not lactose intollerant as i have no issues with milk or dairy products, don't know what happened as when i was younger i had a cast iron stomach.

The bigger picture here is the obvious question first. How much do you have to spend on supplements and what kind ofdiet are you eating? If you have a lot to spend then id be buying some good steaks before many supplements....
Well i supose i could afford a £70-100 order every other month

3g morning, 3g before workout is what I do personally.

Thanks mate ill try this if i get some.

Works well that way.
Maybe add some beta alanine?

Funny you should say that m8, as I just got some today not tried it yet but going to give it a shot... not really sure when to take it other then pre-workout but i'll mix some in with my pre shake and arginine and see how it goes.

I reccommend the arginine not just because it gives great pumps, the reason I take it like this is because all these heavy caffeinated products like no xplode not good for my stomach. But anyway arginine itself is great for increasing bloodflow to muscle, but also optimizes muscle growth and IIRC stimulated growth hormone? so obviously taking it 2-3 times per day I WOULD imagine would show results over a length of period combined with the rest of your routine/diet. Im trialing this atm.

It gives you a tingly/flushed feeling face and i found it was a good pre workout thing and i feel better pumps and vascularity with it and it wears off unlike some of the other supplements with stims in them that last for ages, which is a pain in the arse if you workout late like i do

Yeah I read about that... some people don't like the tingle issue, will give it a shot tomorrow for back session and see how it goes tho.

I use whey (includes glutamine and creatine), casein, Jack3d, fish oil caps, GTE.

for mono i fnd you really have to mega dose the cce is less dramatic but still effective. zma is a very under rated product so is caffine

The tingling aint too bad IMO.

I agree on the zma, weird stuff, gives you a noticeable boost when training, yet take it before bed and it helps me sleep, love the random dreams i have too lol

I am about ready for some more protein so am going to order some stuff from myprotein.

So far i have 5kg whey
glutamine
BCAA, not sure on tablets or powder.
Need some form of creatine, had mono last time and didn't feel much from it.

Im thinking of trying extreme nutritions liquid fury and build and recovey but there quite pricey compaired to other.

Opinions ????

IMO the 4 things you have mentioned along with a good multi vit is more than sufficient for most.

Bump that - but depends on age. I'm also taking fish oil and glucosamine/chondroitin - oh and there's beta alanine in my protein drink.

On a side note I'm not sure how much you could expect to "feel" from creatine. It has a raft of benefits but the primary one is simply increasing stores for the phosphocreatine system. So you can work a little harder and a little longer but in terms of what you could "feel" that's probably it.

Thanks for the imput people i will let you know what i buy and what my gains are like using them.
