Most definitely not. I don't think like that about anything. That's a losers and a defeatist mentality isn't it. I look like I do because of the effort I personally put in, if someone looks better than me regardless of being short I just think fair play to them they clearly graft. Good for them
My theory on anything in life is you get out what you put in. I train hard but there's other areas to this game where I fall short and I admit that
But I also would never trade being 6'2 for being sub 6 foot or even less just for the sake of looking to be more muscular
Good post!
Reading back it nearly sounds like I am baiting for a specific reply but I am not.
I am just curious to what everyone thinks AND a lot of you are tall AF! lol
At 5ft8 I am not tall in any sense of the word.
But I find my self seeing shorter guys lets say 5ft5 and just not being as impressed.
My thought is if you're shorter than the average woman or just there at the same height it doesn't matter how muscular you are it just doesn't look as good.
I started thinking about it and wondered if it's often the case that we're just biased against those shorter than us.
I have one member he's 6ft3 315lb 22 inch arms but he's carrying a legit 20% bf.
He has made comments to me (not meaning to be mean in the slightest) pointing out that compared to him I am not that big.
Which in one way is fully true as he takes up a ton more space than me.
However from a BODYBUILDING point of view being a shredded 240lb or so at 6ft3 wouldn't look as big as a shredded 215lb at 5ft8 on stage at least.
That's when I started to wonder if most people are just less impressed by people shorter than them and I honestly think many are!
From a competitive view point I think right around 5ft9-10 is going to be the best.
At 5ft8 and under the body can look stumpy.
At over 5ft11 often the body can look some what stringy (extra long legs that don't look full).
But for every day life 6ft5 with some functional looking muscle will always be more intimidating than 5ft9 Jay Cutler look a likes.
Plus we know any one built like that may look like a tank but they wont be doing much with it!
One wrong move and there goes a muscle tear! LOL
