I honestly done think the public will take/stand for another lockdown. Covid has gone on too long now. We've all mostly had our jabs, which apparently was the way out, so putting restrictions in now will cause a massive backlash. Will hurt the Tory's ratings.

It'll be back to mask wearing, a pointless passport which does absolutely nothing to stop the spread, but i think what they might do and what they want is mandatory jabs, which im 100% against!

I think this new variant is just another excuse for mandatory jabs. Probably have lanyards with QR codes on next, like China.

They can feck right off.

They cant do another lockdown. Isnt enough money left to cover costs, population have had enough, most realising a lot of it is all scaremongering, it'll be politically damaging to the government which cant take much more etc.
They said vaccines were the way out, most have been double jabbed now so they have no excuse.
Live with it they said, and we're doing just fine now, so they can fcuk off.

Fuck me Tony you must have missed the part where it’s already happening all over the world

France, Scotland, Wales, Austria not to mention a shit load of other countries have already implemented COVID passes, Scotland had a session the other day where they talked about extending it to pubs, clubs, restaurants etc. They decided not to as it wasn’t proportional to the current COVID thread apparently, but if you don’t think that’s gonna change you haven’t been paying attention the last 2 years.

Hold tight. I'm the one who just said never say never. I wouldn't put anything past these fuckers. And make no mistake: they're making lots more money these days so another lockdown would suit them down the the ground regardless of what they may say.

But there comes a point where even they have to let it go. Yes covid will try to mutate and evade immunity but what nobody is talking about is the human body's remarkable ability to outsmart viruses eventually. And human beings also have the conscious ability to eventually tell the goverrment they can fuck right off with your restrictions, so when you say this will be allowed to go on and on I think you are underestimating peoples' tolerance levels.

Yes there are always people that will do what they are told no matter what, but I think to arrive at the conclusion that everybody will just go along with it forevermore is buying in too much into conspiracy thinking.

And even if they do make covid passes mandatory for pubs, clubs, restaurants etc. who gives a fuck? By your own rationale they'll only be full of sheeple wankers so why would you want to go there anyway?
