Protein Sparing Modified Fast (PSMF)

Have many people here used the PSMF for fat loss and lean tissue maintenance?

I'm quite interested in this - is it really anymore than the high protein, low carbs and fats diet? There is also some discussion around PSMF with Slin for enhanced results; not my thing but interesting all the same and may be of use to some.

My understanding is that Lyle McDonald champions this approach in his Rapid Fat Loss Handbook.

Any (informed) thoughts on this area would be welcome.

Used while on dnp.
Basically lean meat and some veg.
Only really applicable in short blasts IMO, worked very well for me! I did around 500-600 calories, lean fish and some veg.

No muscle loss but was only on diet for prob 10 days, wouldnt be doing it long term as muscle loss imo would be inevitable.
