Warm Up And And Sets? What Do You Do?

I've never done any static stretching before training unless a muscle is particularly tight and that's usually only hamstrings
I've always understood that it's not beneficial to static stretch prior to weight training but there is value to it after or away from your sessions
But, that doesn't mean that's the same for everybody
If its working for you then absolutely keep it in
That's correct based on my research for current calve issues. Static stretching according to some temporarily weakens the muscle/compromises it, so before exercise not a good idea. Dynamic stretching however is good. Static stretching best done after a session/run etc.
Some disrepute this, but makes sense to me.

would agree but if you look at the POF system of training from Steve Holeman (positions of flexion training) there are three positions of muscle activity.
Midrange position
stretch position
contracted position

some exercise have one or more of these positions. so stretching is really a part of weight training exercises.

Maybe not enough but I do a one set at lighter weight them my training weight, though I do a full body routine.

Some stretching with bands
Dead hangs
10-20 reps with bar
Similar with some weight on occasionally
Then reps

Like someone else said I'm weak enough for it to not really be a bother

Calisthenics and Yoga anyone?

I'm all about the balance between bodybuilding and health/fitness these days tbh but make no mistake that I still go balls-out in the gym when I train.

Do i some stretching and mobility work, then its roughly, depending on exercises..

Warm up sets;
x10
x6
x3 (this weight is same as my heaviest set, next set. Doing a few reps puts mind and body in a great position knowing whats coming)

Working sets;
x12 (top set)
x12/15+ (back off set)
