Doing "the Finals" When You Really Shouldn't?

But let's say what ever the last quals is (Leeds or Birmingham?) Is a very appealing show as one diet for the quals and finals no hanging about or two diets for a single season of competing.

Let's say all the top boys do this show...
Easily poss altho unlikely...

If the quality through out the entire yr was poor they may well put 3 plus guys through and they could well be the 3 or 4 best...

Was actually after an easy one my self in kent but 8 or 9 of the cunts rolled up and one was a top 4-5 every yr guy lol
Just my luck I always end up in big line ups
I have competed against 1st and 2nd at the Brits in u80... pair of midgets topping out the weight class 2 inch shorter then me lol.

I never once said my point was likely but just as possible as any other point made in this thread.

The reason I was after an easy one was because I wasn't planning on Brits.
Just wanted to have fun and not look a cunt in a class I thought I didn't have the mass for...

Turns out I do have the mass lol so I'll do the finals...

Like I said I wasn't expecting much... suprised my self and now wanna see where I stand at national level.
You can qual with ease then get raped at finals so my quals means fuck all until I stand on the biggen...
I know a few guys who will bum me for sure...
I'm not gonna be biggest on the British stage but ill bust my fucking ring right open trying to be the most shredded!

Have some help atm so I'm confident I'll be shredded and dry...
Now its just a case of following orders and giving 100% from now till then...

I think it depends on the individual situation and what happens with invites. say for example i come third at my show (which id be extremely happy with) and get an invite, even though i came third at my qualifier I think id still do the brits for 2 reasons. A. I have no idea how good the guys who beat me are, they may be top 2 in the country and B. I know from my football career how quickly you can be injured and out for good and id rather look back and say i busted my ass and competed at the british than say yeah i qualified but i didn't think i was good enough to go.That being said id never purposely go to a show i thought was going to have a poor standard to qualify, or compete 3/4 times just waiting on a poor standard.

Say I come dead last this yr
Next time if I come 2nd from last that's an improvement
If I keep that up over how ever many yrs making improvements etc I can look back and say I achieved a better placing yr after yr and improved yr after yr and that is 2 hat bbing is at the end of the day.

That's me echoing my mum's words... She told me this all the time as I was growing up and I live my mum and even tho I'm a cunt no matter what if I truly give 100 she is always proud of me... Even to this day you can ask her and im sure she would say she is proud of me.

Same as my wife and as long as my son adopts my attitude to what ever he chooses to do in life ill be proud.
