How Many Cheat Meals A Week

You got me again! LOL

And again..

Ok, back to the OP. For people you advice on diet/training do you advocate a "cheat meal" if there goal is fat loss? Or go for more of a "refeed". Thats if you dont mind giving a wee bit of insight.

last night i had 2 big mac meals 2 quarter pounder meals, i took the burgers out of 1 of each type and made 1 double quarter and 1 quad burger big mac

now that was the shizzle nizzle yummmmm

look leaner this morning too lol

A little off topic but read them Mc D's happy meals for kids have 32g of sugar in each meal, fcuking shocking that,my kid ain't going anywhere near that place, treat or no treat.

I have one every 2-3 weeks usually a teaspoon if peanut butter and a dash if double cream are enough to keep any cravings away.

When i used runa tKD i'd abuse the hell of out of my carb refeed, for the first 4 hours i would literally eat anything and everything, The more sh1t i ate, the more weight i lost. Strange to say the least but that's how it worked for me.

I was keeping it clean at first, starting off with lucozade and then moving on to shreddies and bagels but after a while when my bf had dropped a fair bit i though fvck it, you only live once, so out went the lucozade and in came the haribo and chocolate... shreddies became donuts or cheese cake and bagels became mixed kebabs>

Obviously for the last 24 hours of the refeed i'd then go back to clean eating with the carbs but the bigger the cheat, the better i got on. Maybe as i felt more positive in general abutthe diet due to the cheat and that spurred me onto work harder?... who knows, I abuse my cheat meals though, nothing is excluded..... That's what they're for.

I read the second paragraph as 'shreddies and bagels but when my boyfriend had dropped a fair bit':lol:

clean carb up or dirty carb up IMO matters not as both have similar effects.

for those that have dieted down to sub 10% bf i imagine not many notice a difference between taking in 500g carbs clean and taking in 500g carbs from dirty sources that come with extra fats and sugar etc.

I no myself i have noticed an actual better effect when eating so many "dirty" meals in a set period of time than eating "clean" meals.

However you do need to be careful to stick with foods that agree with your stomach so will not cause bloat.

Had my first cheat meal this week :) a steakhouse Angus xl wooper from bk Mmmmmm.

Did you like it then?
I had one of those the other night while spending the night with the junkies and homeless in the train station of Zurich.
I found it too expensive and for some reason i don't like the BK burgers i find them dry....

There's no way that Lucozade, Shreddies and bagels are "cleaner" than any other foods in any sense!

They're almost pure sugar and starch, which raise blood triglycerides immediately and cause a huge insulin spike, with all the adverse effects noted for instance in the Fathead movie.

Haribo, chocolate, donuts, cheese cake and mixed kebabs are not only better bodybuilding food and more satiating, because they contain fat, but also lower in sugars and carbs gram for gram, so some weight loss might even occur.

There really are no such things as clean or dirty foods.

The obsession with low fat, and that somehow rice and other carbs are "clean" is absurd - and don't aid muscle gain.

Agree but one difference is that with higher fats you slow down digestion and limit the amount of carbs you can fit in.

Provider. You are slightly missing the point in the context of the OP a bit, as yo go off on your evangelical pro fat parade

I like Skip hills refeed method of a day of super high carbs but keeping the fats very low....and using this to figure out timings of what it takes to have you full to bursting then the time after that it takes for you to water over then dry up...for the purpose of hitting the stage

Since when do haribo contain fat besides trace amounts? The main ingredient is glucose so its the same as a lucazade....does taste better though that is for sure.

When talking about clean carbs people refer to the yams/sweet potatoes, brown rice, rye bread....this kind of thing.

Unless of course i am confused....it is confusing i will admit all these terms people use.

IF we talk from a purely health point of view carbs should always be limited and sugars always avoided.
But this is bodybuilding we speak about which is in its nature not healthy to start with.

Quoted for my amusement
