Clomid As A Stand Alone Testosterone Booster? (not As Pct)

Just use nolva if there's a concern about clomid sides. Old school guys will claim clomid is better for pct whilst nolva is better for gyno but there's no actual reason why this should be the case. They both have the same mechanism.
I’m pretty sure Nolva doesn’t stimulate LH only FSH but it’s been a while since I read up on this stuff because I don’t use either anymore.

That wouldn't make any sense since lh and fsh are both secreted by the pituitary gland, which in turn is stimulated by ghr from the hypothalamus. Serms work to speed up hpta recovery by binding e2 receptors at the hypothalamus, so it would be impossible to only stimulate lh and not fsh.

Yeah? Was just reading it does stimulate both…so why the need for both in the usual pct protocol.

Dunno, it's just an old school protocol to use both clomid and nolva, but they're both serms with the same mechanism. I'm not discounting guys like 2can that say clomid works better anecdotally, but there's no reason for it to be on paper.

Thanks for the responses, think I'll try Nolva to start with if I go ahead with the idea instead since neither is actually necessary for me having not been on gear.

Interesting topic. I remember threads on MT many years ago where BBers were doing this with SERMs and one particular bloke was getting bloods done which confirmed the effectiveness.
