only people I know that would are people that have been diagnosed with bp issues, had a stroke etc.I am much healthier and more health conscious than my mates who drink virtually every night and smash booze/coke at weekend, smoke like chimneys and never go the gym, eat shite and do not do any of the points in the OP. I believe there are healthy people out there but yet to meet a non-gear user in real life who has regular blood tests, owns a BP monitor etc etc.
My old man has one for the above reasons, and when I lived at home I would use his. Got my own little Omron now. doesn't cost much and good to know what's going on.
